“Great Place to Stay”
Reviewed 31 March 2012

What a great place! I am a 14 year old expat kid who has stayed in many hotels all around the world. This was by far the best. We have stayed here twice now, we came back to Chiang Mai for a few reasons but one of the biggest was that we knew there was a great place to stay. The staff is the greatest I have ever had before, and they were constantly trying to make our stay as good as possible. The breakfast is phenomenal with great choices and homemade food. And it's free. While my parents were getting fantastic Thai massages brought straight to the guest house, my sister (10) and I (14) enjoyed homemade icecream and used the 24-hour free WiFi and Desktop computer access. A great place for all ages, families, anything. The sorted us out on the best places to go and the best drivers and everything you could ask for. Totally blown away. Highly reccommend.

Room Tip: For family, I reccommend either "Suite" rooms or 2 rooms with connecting balcony.

The Pak was very nice, the gardens and water features set off the entrance only to be topped by the beautiful smiles from the kind helpful and staff.

The staff were very helpful with every query, it was clean and had a nice traditional Thai feel about it.

The food was healthy and very tasty, the chef(s) obviously take their work seriously, well done to the whole team...

Room Tip: Upstair was nice and quiet

I can not say enough about how wonderful my stay at Pak was! I really felt like I was staying in someones home. I was even sick for part of my stay and the staff at Pak really took care of me as though I was family! The location is in the old part of town, walking distance to many spa's, temples, and restaurants. The Sunday night market is also nearby. They also are more than willing to help book excursions, massages, and cooking classes. I was very happy with my stay and will stay there in the future.

A nice bed and breakfast just inside the old city near the Chiang Mai gate. Relaxed and mellow, and about a ten minute walk from most of the action, and steps away from the Saturday night market. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the interior courtyard is really cozy.

This place is great. I would definitely recommend it. We stayed in the luxury room and it was beatiful. I have never seen a bathroom like it! The reception is also amazing, like an oasis.

The people running it are also fantastic, they helped us book some trips, gave great tourism advice and also brought you a flask of hot water and tea at the end of the day.

You could say a downsides was that there was no fridge in the room, but you can get complimentary cold water from the fridge in the reception. There is no view, but the decor was so beautiful you really didn't notice.

And Chiang Mai is amazing!! This place is close to the Sunday and Saturday walking streets, and away from the tacky (east-side) of the town. Definitely recommend coming on a weekend
