Due to a booking error I had to switch to this hotel for my third night of a 3 night stay in Chiang Mai. My previous 2 nights had been in a wonderful hotel that I really didn’t want to leave.
In comparison the Eurana was terrible. The first room they gave me was an “upgrade”. There was a mouldy smell on entering. Indeed there was mould all over the bathroom tiles and window sill. The furniture was dated and shabby. Even the bed linens had stains.
We settled on a room after being shown a few others and it was only marginally better. When the toilet wouldn’t flush I had to turn plumber and lift the back off the toilet to ensure it was refilling each time.
Extra pillows were available to rent at 50 baht each as were extra towels. Didn’t try the pool as it looked unappealing. Breakfast was below average. A restaurant attendant had to stand holding the plug of the toaster into the wall for it to work!
I’m generally fairly easy going but was not impressed with the Eurana. More
