Arrived early. Was told to return at 2 pm.
However this lady was more than friendly with other caucasian guests. She even lied that she would speak to Housekeeping but never moved an inch.
It was not till I had a word with the Front Office Manager that I managed to get a room.
Will stay at St Regis or another nearby hotel the next time.
Disappointed that she treated a Ritz Carlton Rewards member in this manner
If you ever check into this hotel, look out for and avoid a young lady with tattooed eyebrows and thick make up at front office, unless you are a Caucasian. Such prejudicial treatment should not be condoned.

Stayed here 2 nights recently and was upgraded to a corner room - which was slightly larger then the regular rooms. Also spent 2 nights at the Renaissance - which actually after getting a LNF rate, was actually cheaper then the Courtyard.

Location is a little bit set back from the road in the same alley as the Four Seasons at a fraction of the price. It is nearer the Ratchdamari BTs rather then Chit Lom. However it is still an easily walkable distance to both. There is a free shuttle to the Ratchdamari BTS ( 5 min walk ) but to get to Chit Lom, it is a 5-10 minute walk.

Overall it is a solid 4 star. Nothing spectacular but overall fairly good value for money. The lounge is nothing to write home about. Just the bare amenities and snacks. Not much of a view from most of the rooms as they face other apartments and hotels and the hotel is only 15 floors high.

However, for value in that area, it is difficult to beat. The only real competitor in its class in that area would be the Holiday Inn which is in a slightly better location just next to Chit Lom BTS.

Come in with limited expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. ( Comparing to the Courtyards in the States ) Come in expecting 5 star luxury - you will be disappointed.

Room Tip: If you're tavelling with a kid - get the corner room, more space for a rollaway bed

Prices below US$100, location right next to sukhumvit and the 4 seasons, what more could a traveler ask for. yes this is not a 5 star hotel, if you have those expectations than this is NOT the right notel. go to the Mandarin Oriental. rooms are comfortable, priced as a 2/3 star and feels more like an entry 4 star. great location, good hotel restaurant, great value hotel if that is what you are looking for.

We stopped in Bangkok for a few days on the way to Phuket from the UK, we had 3 rooms on the 9th floor with some pretty impressive views.

Fantastic was our overall impression, the staff were friendly, well informed and very helpful. The location was great also so visiting Bangkok was very easy from here. I am not sure why you would wish to pay more for a hotel when this one offers everything you want. I will definitely book here again if I visit Bangkok again.

Thanks to all.

I've stayed there for fifth time this year and I loved so far. Even though hotel is located in Ratchadamri area, central part of busy Bangkok, it is very quiet and not crowded at all. It only takes 5minutes walking distance from BTS Ratchadamri station which is convenient to go to Siam/Silom area. Hotel staffs are very nice and eager to help me and business lounge on 15th floor is great to relax or grap a bite. I will definately go back to Courtyard Bangkok in my next trip in Bangkok.
I almost forgot to mention that only drawback is some of rooms have a soundproof problem especially when you get a room xx01/ xx14.

Room Tip: Only Premier room type has a bathtub.
