Just spent a week here while visiting friends nearby. Initially couldn't find the hotel, so phoned reception, described my location and one of the staff walked to meet me and show me the way.
Room on 5th floor, on the Silom side, nice clean well appointed room, although there is a building site about 6 metres from the balcony where work starts at 0800 daily. Not the hotels fault but if you want to sleep in you have no chance. Used the fitness room and sat by the pool a couple of times between rain showers. Had the breakfast which is a typical Asian buffet three times but didn't eat anything else in the restaurant.Room has a fridge, microwave and an electric hob. Two bottles of water provided free per room daily. Internet is free, wifi only works in public areas but the room has a wired port with an ethernet cable provided, once logged in with details supplied connection is good and high speed. All in All a good stay, close to friends apartment and about a three minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station.

Room tip: Ask for a room on the Sathorn Road side, away from the building site.

This has become the main hotel I stay at in Bangkok. I always request the same room and have never been disappointed, however the Hotel is approaching a time when some refurbishment might be in order. The Sathorn side is the side to stay on. I noticed that there is major construction next door on the Silom side, and I was aware of noise when in the corridors so I imagine it may be a current issue in the rooms on that side. When the adjacent building is finished I imagine it will also affect views and light, particularly in the lower floors in this hotel.
The hotel generally has good rates which make it a good value property. I have always found the Staff friendly.
Very good location near the vibrant Patpong Road and the night markets. The Chong Nonsi Skytrain staion is a short walk and the train will whisk you to the main attractions and shopping in Bangkok.

Furama Sathorn -
Stayed for 10 nights

Deluxe Room
good size shower and water pressure was great
supplied new towels daily & toiletries
In room snacks/drinks
Room service 6am - 11pm daily
Breakfast - was ok, there is a selection however at approx. 9am there is not much left.
Self- Laundry service available - 60 THB per wash/ 100THB for drying
Swimming Pool / Sauna- was nice and cool
Gym - OK - No treadmill

Chong Nonsi BTS - 3 minute walk ( this is only 3 stops to SIAM station - main stop)
7/11 - 3 minute walk
Dry Cleaning service- 3 minute walk
Three Restaurants alongside the street (Korea & Thai)

The hotel states 4 star, I believe it is 3 star.
The hotel is a little old and in need of a refurb.
There was also construction occuring right next door, started work at 8am each morning (Mon- Sat)

I did like the location, as it was close to Chong Nonsi BTS station.
However, everything is average.
I dont think it will be my first choice of a hotel in BKK though.

Room tip: Request a room away from construction work. Ask for a pool facing room

If you are looking for a place with a good location, a place that gives you a large room which is well equipped, a place that is located in a good area close to the bts, a place that has good, helpful, friendly staff, then this is the hotel you want to stay at.
The rooms are very well furnished - this is like a 4 star hotel - great amenities - good breakfast.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
They also have a tour desk which arranges tours and car transport at competitive rates.

Nothing special, only pro room was clean and confortable, bathroom decent except for the shower that was too low and could get a decent shower without kneeling a little bit down, everytime i'd shower water would run down to the floor and flood everything. Poor breakfast and very unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

Room tip: get a room on a top floor at least you'll get a nice view
