“Absolute must see so worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2012

This place is amazing. We started atthe grand palace then walked over to wat pho ( reclining buddah) after lunch we went to the pier along the river and paid 3 baht or ten cents to cris the river to wat Arun

You can see this eldest wat in Bangkok is gorgeous. So original. The climb up is worth it. The view of the city an the view of all the inscriptions and carvings are priceless. It's such a spiritual place

Returning down the temple can be tricky and my friend was freajing out all the time but it's so worth it.

Fantastic views once the near vertical steps have been climbed. Not for those with a fear of heights

“Great temple on the other side of the river”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2012

This temple is on the other side of the river of the Grand Palace and Wat Po. A pleasant ferry ride across and you can start exploring. The stairway to the top of the temple is quite steep and any little kids or older folks will find it a struggle. Once your up there though you will love the views and the cool breeze in the shade.

Highly recommended and great to be at either in the morning or the afternoon.

“Beautiful Wat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

I didn't catch this one at dawn, but it was still impressive. Ornate designs and patterns keep your eyes moving all over. A do not miss spot if you are out Wat hopping.
