Nice hotel, surrounded by excessive traffic and restricted access off the main road.

Rooms spacious, cleaning staff good, breakfast buffet average quality fare. Boisterous tour groups especially Chinese. Hotel large enough to feel quiet and comfortable. Drinks at extortionate prices as is internet at 100bht an hour or 300bht for 24 hours.

7-11, supermarket and evening markets all within a short walk. Plenty of massage parlors, working girls and the seedier side of life in the surrounding areas.

Room Tip: I was with a tour group, all rooms face same direction, 31 floors in total.

I stayed there for 2 nights. I wish i could have stayed more. Rooms are quite spacious.. Staff at reception is co-operative and able to understand English. Room Service is fast. Beautiful views from room and lobby. Breakfast is also Delicious.

Cons: Shopping malls and streets are little bit far. So you have to spend money in taxi or tuktuk.

The hotel was really, really good! Large, clean rooms with a gorgeous view of the city (my room was on the 27th floor so I could see the whole city from above), central position just a couple of minutes walk from Nana skytrain stop, and smiling and helpful staff. Next time I go to Bangkok I will certainly return to Royal Benja Hotel!

Traveling with a group, this hotel was booked for us.

It's clearly a staple for Chinese and Vietnamese tour groups, which was fine...the staff are clearly used to getting groups checked-in and out of the lobby quickly.

The decor all over and the rooms seemed a little dated and ours smelt of smoke but as part of a group it was fine. The minibar helped:)

If I had to personally choose I'd probably not stay here again. The location was quite good, near Nana, but in terms of using when on business or traveling with my wife I'm not sure. There must be better options?

Never tried the wifi, breakfast, gym or pool so won't comment on those but I will say, any questions raised to the front desk were always answered professionally.
