Useful having kitchenette. Our wing a little shabby but great bargain. New tower rooms more luxurious. In a residential area a bit far from main tourist sites but free Tuk-Tuk service to sky train. Near convention center.

I stayed at the hotel 2 nights in March 2012. The hotel presents themselves as in an ideal location for business and pleasure, which is not really the case. They are not too far from some locations, but there's very little of interest within walking distance of the hotel. You need to take a taxi/tuk-tuk to where you want to go, or to the nearest metro station. The metro is good and takes you around town comfortable and quickly. The hotel is located on both sides of a small but busy street. Crossing the street safely can be a challenge with the traffic. The hotel pool (outdoor) is shared with one or two condo buildings and reaching it is like going through a labyrinth. Fortunately a yellow line is painted on the floor because otherwise most people would inevitably get lost. The rooms at the hotel and nice and spacious. My room had a kitchenette. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good.

Room Tip: I think most rooms face the street, so there's a bit of noise, but not too bad.

I have been going to this hotel for over 7 years now whenever I am in Bangkok. As most hotels in Bangkok that I have been to (below the US$100 per night price point) I try not to expect great service, when the reception staff can't even give me a smile I find myself wondering if they understand the power and value of a smile in the hotel business. The head of house keeping on the Mayflower wing won me over with her friendly greetings and is the only reason why I would come back to this hotel in the future. Ultimately minus the overall service, the spacious rooms are quite comfortable. It is also close to street food vendors, starbucks and au bon pain.

Room Tip: If you choose the mayflower wing, request for a high floor to reduce street noise.

We stayed for 3 nights at President Park at the family suite for our first time to visit Thailand. The room is very clean, comfortable and worth the price. The staffs are very helpful especially with booking tours and renting cars. We even became friends with the guys at concierge! When it comes to location, it is very well located, just off the main road. Wifi is available at the lobby and inside the room as well. But only one gadget can use it though, so if you have a laptop with you, better register that one and not your mobile. Buffet breakfast is delicious! We used the discount card they gave us and we only paid 800 Baht at Siam Ocean World, which is suppose to be 1,200 Baht each. I'd definitely stay there again!

Our group of 8 stayed at the President Park. The staff follow the mission statement to the cue and treat their guests like royalty. The reception was great, we walked into huge rooms luxuriously maintained with a living, dining area and well equipped kitchen as we had booked suites. The huge bathroom had both a shower that gave a waterfall experience and a tub. Room 1604 had a big balcony with a relaxing chair to enjoy the skyline. The maintenance and housekeeping attended to calls in 5 mins. The best part was the Club lounge with a hearty breakfast, very friendly hostesses who took good care through the day; snacks, coffee and soft drinks were available through the day. The internet facility was helpful. Last but not the least, a taxi shuttle was available to the sky train stop and the bell desk staff offered amazing service. Thank you and if I ever visit Bangkok, I will stay only at President Park. Make sure you book the Club suite, it is real value.

Room Tip: Book the Club suites and room 1604 which is huge and with a big balcony.
