This past weekend, I dined out Drinking Tea Eating Rice restaurant for Brunch and experienced really poor service. I’ve meant to be dining at Liu however the place was full I decided to not wait and went to this place instead. The place was filled up with around 7 table at a time we were seated. As seated I ordered some dishes and while waited for the food to come I decided to chekc out the sushi bar however was blocked by the waitress saying upfront that, for the buffet it will be by order from the table not from the counter ---> They took already assumption from this point as I may be order some additional dishes that might not include in the buffet hence an opportunity to upsell thier product anyway I went back to my table where the first hot dish was being served after 30 mins of order were made. I made a complain to the Japanese lady who is a manager.... 10 mins gone by the 2nd dish arrived...when I starting to enjoy my food another waiter stood up to tell me that I have 5 mins left to make last order!!!! I was shocked as the 3rd dish wasnt even arrived. I lost my appetite by the fact that I was disturbed by ther service staff in every 15 mins since the moment I seated I couldnt put up with it so I called for the bill.... The japanese manager offer 15% discount for the total bill...however it was not make up for the 1.5 hours waste of time, energy and money... I ended up have to dine elsewhere outside the hotel....Understand waiter that it is hard to control every element of the dining experience however they could have communicate better that I was upset since the late arrival of the dish and not all the dish are being served yet hence not to come and rush me to order more it really doesnt make any sense.... On a lighter note, while I was dining I ask the girl to check for spa info/ menu where she came back to me and all she provided me was a Facial treatment name with no info and when I ask for further info the girl keep saying oh it also come with Free this and Free that...they really need to understand that to sell a product is not jsut the price but also the product benefit and details...as simple as how can you buy a car without knowing how many seat, color etc but only the price..... Wont go back there anytime soon
