This B&B offers everything you need for a great place to stay in the center of Old Bangkok. A quick walk to all sites or Tuk Tuks ready to take you where you need to go. The staff is very friendly and outgoing and speak english very well. That is a commodity in Bangkok especially at small B&B's. The room (#4) was spacious and had just what we needed for rest and relaxation before the next day. The eastern breakfast is not to be missed served in authentic thai lunch box, this 4 course breakfast is the perfect start to the day. Highly recommend this B&B.

My sister and I spent a few nights here at the beginning of our trip and enjoyed it so much that we booked for a few days at the end as well. The decor is beautiful, the food fantastic and I have never had better service in a hotel anywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful whether we were asking to be let in after a late night or looking for recommendations for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They even helped us book flights over the phone for a trip down to the islands.

I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. A tranquil hideaway in a crazy, bustling city.

I can only echo all the great reviews on here. We had a lovely two night stay at the Asadang. From the enthusiastic greeting to the lovely room, afternoon iced lattes, great restaurant recommendations, great breakfast and staff willing to go the extra mile. The location is great to - within walking distance to many of the major sites.
They even had orange juice and a packed breakfast waiting when we checked out too early for breakfast.
An absolute gem of a B&B.

OMG is the word to say about this place we stayed in the top floor of the building which is facing some Wat/temple in the area. We chose this place as it the ending of our 11d10n journey and wanted to stay at a place different from normal hotel and a place which is not so expensive. The period the place was on promo so we got the place at a cheap price 2800baht for 2. We had our own balcony and the room layout was different from normal hotel concept. We had free snacks and free bottled water. They provide free afternoon tea and snacks for free too. The custormer service was excellent !!

A 9 room hotel which is based in an old restored house in the Old Town of Bangkok - you really get a good feel for local living rather than checking into some international hotel chain that would be the same no matter where in the world it was based. Asadang is also run with much care and attention to detail. As you walk in you are served a refreshing lemongrass drink which was delicious. You will be given a map of the area which shows you that ALL the major Buddha sites are within walking distance which is fantastic. They also highlight places to eat and see. The food recommendations are spot on. The rooms are very well decorated and maintained. There is wifi in the common area (not in rooms). The bathrooms are also very simply but tastefully done. I've been here for 3nights and highly recommend this. If there is a criticism it would be that the shower is quite weak! The breakfast options are quite broad and fall under continental or Thai. I tried both and would recommend trying the Thai option at least once.

Room tip: As a solo traveller I took room 8 which I think is the Lod room. It was lovely.
