My parents, brother and I spent three days at The Asadang while visiting Bangkok and the experience was memorable. The place is full of character and history, nestled in the heart of old Bangkok with its splendid architecture and period feel. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished; the Suite even as a quaint bathtub! Breakfast is lush and one can choose Thai or Western cuisine. The best part about the place is the staff, which is warm and considerate and willing to cater to special needs. My mum is vegetarian and while it was obvious that The Asadang doesn't have a vegetarian menu, they went out of their way to prepare something special for her. On future trips to Bangkok too, I would prefer to stay here.More
