I got a discount on this property which was large enough to make me want to try it. The property is right at the intersection of Asok Rd and Sukhumvit so I had seen it many times.
The restaurant occupies the first floor, so you must enter, take the elevator to reception on the 2nd fl. The staff is very pleasant and efficient. What is noticeable when entering the room is how small it is. Barely wider than the bed is long. The door to the bathroom doubles as the closet door. I have no idea why the hotel is called "Suites".
The shower are is very nice. Good fixtures, good hot water. Unlike most Thai showers, it has a large shelf for toiletries and a good door and ledge which isolate the water from going into the rest of the bathroom. Very nice. The sink/toilet area is very well designed, optimizing limited space. Just don't drop anything as it's difficult to bend over in front of the sink.
The biggest disappointment for me was that there isn't any connection between the hotel and the skyway from the BTS. Although the hotel is adjacent to the skyway, you must use the stairs to the sidewalk to enter. Upon exiting the hotel, if you want to go the BTS, you must lug your bags up the stairs or walk a long city block, crossing Asok Rd and using the escalator in front of Terminal 21.
The hotel is very comfortable, the restaurant is good (a bit pricey) and the staff very pleasant. I merely think there are better choices for the price they ask.
