Cozy Bangkok had everything one could ask for in a budget accomodation. Very good prices, extremely clean, great common area with cheap internet and a decent location (very close to the underground transit system).
The only problem was finding the place! Other travellers mentioned having a similar difficulty locating it the first time. Even with the printout map from the website my taxi driver was unable to find it. Make sure you know where you are going before you set out to Cozy. Once you find it you are in for a great stay!

We stayed in the Cozy Bangkok 2 times for 2 nights during our SE-Asia travels. We chose the double rooms in the 3th floor. The rooms are beautiful, the bathrooms are shared but superclean and the service great. We especially liked the location in Chinatown and in walking distance to the train and metro station. It´s a residential area, that is wonderfully quiet for Bangkok. Recommended!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Bangkok look no further. Especially if you are a couple or friends looking for a clean, stylish, quiet and friendly place - especially recommended for you first time in Bangkok! The showers are the nicest in south east Asia - better than most Bangkok hotels and the beds so comfy - of a European hotel standard. Yes, it's not the cheapest hostel, but it's in the quiet and pretty china town and 2 minutes walk from Hua Lumphong main train station, the metro (highly recommended - air con, clean and cheap transport) and the airport bus stop.
Make this place your first or last stop in Bangkok and don't forget to go to the worlds biggest market at the weekend - boutique shopping at Thailand prices - amazing!

Hi

If you are looking for accomodation in Bangkok look no further. I spent hours researching hostels / guesthouses having never been to Thailand before.
Cozy Place Bangkok is gorgeous. Clean, quirky, quaint, cheap and QUIET. It's not far from one of Bangkoks main train stations. It's about 50bht just over 1 euro by taxi-meter to Khao San which is just like any other strip in the world.. loud, tacky, cheap. But admittedly a good place to see and get some decent information about onward travel.
We stayed 5 nights at the Cozy upstairs on the top floor in the "lovebirds" room. It has it's own little terrace (the floor not the room) which was lovely to sit out on at night and read.
Please - if you want clean comfortable digs, in a quiet part of town with lovely friendly staff - then this is THE place

If you are looking for a hostel away from the busy Khao San Road or Sukhumvit districts, this is a great place to stay. The hostel is very close by to the main station (Hualamphong) so convenient if you are using Bangkok as a base to reach other destinations in Thailand (our bus from Koh Chang stopped here too). The hostel itself is tucked away in some nice backstreets and is pretty much brand new. The staff are incredibly helpful, the place is spotlessly clean, it's really nicely decorated, there's very cheap internet and even a good kitchen if you want to do your own cooking. There are dorms and private rooms (we stayed in both) which are equally as good as one another. The showers in particular were great, and there is a really nice, tucked away roof terrace as well.
We thought that this hostel was a really great find, although it is a little bit out of the way. Most of the standard Bangkok attractions are a tuk tuk or taxi ride away. We didn't mind this though and overall felt that it was better located than places in the Sukhumvit area.
We found no faults with this place. There is even filtered water that you can take as much as you like of for free. A typical, grimy backpacker joint this ain't.
