i booked the hotel through Airasiago.com. i choose this hotel is because of it average price and convenience.
Let talk about convenience first, it really quite convenience because next to Ramkhamheang airport -link. But the nightmare start with this conveniences, the train will pass by the station from early morning until midnight. It is really noisy and can not rest well for my 3 days stay in this hotel.
For the room, it is very uncomfortable as well. The room is small, look old, weird smell and some more with a hard bed. =.=lll
Although we are really not satisfy with the hotel and one thing i would like to highlight is the friendly hotel staff. They greet you, help you carry luggage and even help us to bargain a good price with the taxi driver. Thumb up for their staff.
For the location, this hotel really far from town area so if you plan to go back in midnight, you have to prepare around THB400 above for the taxi fee....it is quite costly....
Conclusion, if you plan to have a good rest after a long day of shopping and sightseeing.
i would recommend you to choose a better hotel.....

My sister and I checked in Nasa Vegas during the 14/6/2012 to 19/6/2012.

Exterior
The lobby looks grand, everything was okay. UNTIL we entered our room, we had a huge shock.
Value
But due to the price we get it for ($10USD/Night) for a room,we think that what you pay is what you get.
Rooms & Sleep Quality
The room is creepy, the lights are too cozy that its scary (we had "abnormal" experience staying in this hotel. YES THOSE THINGS)
The furniture is dated and looks cheap, the wallpaper seriously need a change as well.
The Bed is horrendously dirty, my sister was not sleeping well throughout the stay, and had a great time scratching all along, also, as a man's view, it was really dusty as well..
The toilet had a strench of unpleasent smell (after numerous attempts of spraying air freshener)

For service wise, I think you can call it an No-Frills hotel, you want something, you pay for it.
There was a day that it was raining heavily in Bangkok and the I don't know what happened as I was bathing.
THE BATHROOM LAMP LEAKED YELLOW WATER FOR MORE THAN 1 HOUR.
I called the room service and they said that they will send someone down in 10 minutes, I don't know whether their clock is not working or I am in the wrong timezone, the repairman took 1 hour to just come and take a look and asked me to change room in 5MINS.
No service!

Location:
It was OKAY, as there is an airport link to and fro the airport, and to the city as well.
However if you either missed the previous train, happy waiting! As the train frequency is only 15minutes.
Also, if you were really unlucky like us, imagine the Train broke down and bangkok is already congested during non-peak hours, you'll seriously be frustrated squeezing in the train (that took us an hour or more to do so)

Restaurant:
We didn't went for it as we saw the price and it was way too overpriced as of bangkok standard, decided to go other places to eat than eating in the restaurant.

Overall in conclusion:
We are not very demanding customers, we know where we stand as we only pay little, but if are fussy, superstitious, or having sensitive skin, wanting good service, this is a no-no for you, even at 10USD ($12 SGD) per night, as budget travellers, I will simply advise others to consider other hotels, as there are better hotels elsewhere, and this hotel is simply "not a vegas"

Room Tip: AVOID ROOMS FACING DIRECTLY TO THE TRAINS, IT IS DISTURBING US EVEN AT 2.30AM. Don't get the rooms which are near the "Exit" logo, there MAY be somethings inside =D

this hotel is good for people who have to go to the airport or connecting flight and want to have a night in bangkok. the hotel is just cross the road from the airport rail station.it's very easy to go places in bangkok. the price is cheap but that's what you will get. there's not free water, you have to pay for it but no worry, there's a family mart in front the hotel. there's no food stall nearby, you may have to walk about 10 mins to find some food stall but i recommend you to go downtown like Terminal 21 or siam square to find some food or walking around.

my family and i stayed at this hotel for 6 nights booked through agoda .com,before arriving in bangkok we had stayed in phuket n krabi hotels of approx the same rate and those rooms were really good for the price and we received facilities like drinking water bottles, tea, cofffe, sugar ,whitener, kettle, hair dryer,a safe(everything free of cost n was replenished everyday),free wifi, spacious room,.But coming here after staying at those hotels we were really dissapointed.the lobby looks grand but the facilities are nil...they provide wi-fi at 150 baht per day basis or 600 baht per month,i used to think wi-fi is something that u provide free of cost.To get a glass of hot water they charge 25 baht if v wish to make tea or coffee by ourselves. The people at the frrom the front office only talk abt money first instead of understanding what the guest is trying to say and they don folllow up on issues or problems from the guests side. There is no manager whom u can speak to on a sunday or somebody who is in charge of guest relations. There is a tourist desk but its not conected to the hotel and they overcharge for all tours n taxis, the hotel authorities do not take any responsibility for them n they misguide the guest. It is always better to use the family mart thats right oppostie to the hotel, they i think provide more facilities that this useless hotel, the hotell is only good for the low price n nothin else. The hotel should add the minimum charges for the facilities and then sell the rooms,it wud be great help to the guest.

Are in the middle of a stay in Nasa Vegas hotel in Bangkok... Thought we found a bargain, but there is no such thing as a free meal... As many have said before, it looks great from the outside, OK in the reception, but the rooms are pretty disgusting... And this coming from an ex army guy... It absolutely stinks in the rooms, we managed to change once, but the second was no improvement, there is a Mini-Mart opposite and they are well stocked up on airfreshener, when i asked the lady at the counter if it had something to do with the hotel opposite she just laughed knowingly... In the first room we could literally see the insects jump on the blankets supplied in bed, and when we asked to change room we were asked "Why?" when i explained that it was itching all over on my son and it was disgusting to sleep with insects I was again asked "Why?. The guy spoke good english, so there was no language issues, he was just genuinely surprised we didnt want to share bed with a few insects....

Otherwise, it is cheap, the area is not bad, good communications both to the city and the airport...

What it comes down to is if you are an animal lover this is a great place with a great fauna to explore, but if you like complaining about small things like myself it will be a few days of torture...

Room Tip: Towards the back of the hotel, since on the front there are trains passing every ten minutes during the day
