Temple Tree Hotel in Pokhara is new. The swimming pool is well-designed, very clean, and lights underneath. You have friendly staff who stand-by to give you towels and assist other guests.
The rooms are excellent. Nice yellow halogen lighting, two wall-attached lamp shades, space programming is highly-optimized, split-type AC, centralized card system power on/off, flat screen Samsung TV on the wall, cabinet for luggage, table, chair, disposable slipper, bath tub, toilet, post-modern sink, heater, exhaust, etc. Wake up call is ok. Front-desk is friendly. The spa was still under construction when we checked out. They need to put in a steam bath room, sauna room, massage room, gym, etc.
All the restaurants on the Lakeside are pretty accessible from the hotel.
The interior design of the hotel and restaurant is rustic Mediterranean.
Needs improvement: housekeeping should clean the rooms thoroughly specifically the toilet, the toilet flush is a bit slow, they need to install card key system for door access, extend the pool to 10PM as most of the hotels globally do. Put CCTV system on hallways. Replace some of the beds with medium soft configuration. More lights on the pool area.More
