Stayed in this recently opened hotel for two nights as part of a trip to Nepal and Bhutan in late February 2012. We received a warm welcome and were greeted by a fresh flower arrangement and celebration chocolate cake in our room ... it was our 38th wedding anniversary. Our room was not large but well appointed and very comfortable with traditional Tibetan decor. Much thought had gone into the toiletries which were very well presented. We ate in the restaurant where the staff were helpful in advising us what to order. The owner and her staff were welcoming and attentive.
The atmosphere was relaxed and unobtrusively friendly
This hotel is well located for visiting the Bouda Stupa .... within walking distance.
It was a haven of tranquility after the hustle and bustle of this wonderful city. We would love to return.

A really charming hotel in a very good location (only five mintues walk from Boudhanath Stupa). The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 6 days, 4 days once and then a second time for 2 days in April, 2012. The staff is so nice and accommodating. We loved being so close to the Bodhnath Stupa where we spent a lot of time shopping and just observing all the people. They also have the best prices for souvenirs (even better than Thamel). The hotel breakfast is served on the rooftop which is wonderful. The regular dining room has an excellent menu for both lunch and dinner. The food is very reasonable, and the chef is great! He even came out to say hello to us and to see if we liked his food (which we did very much).

Our room overlooked the street. We were on the 3rd floor, so it was fun to sit and watch the traffic and everything going on from our window. It was a little noisy during the day, but once 8 p.m. came, everything closes down and it is pretty quiet. I would not have traded quiet during the day for no view. It was so much fun to watch the people.

The room was very comfortable and very modern. We highly recommend this hotel and if we go back to Nepal, we will definitely stay here. Good value for your money.

Room Tip: We liked rooms 304 and 305. If you are very concerned about quiet, request a room not facing the st...
