Situated across the river, one needs to cross a small bridge from the farmers market to get there. An Indian style market with stalls upon stalls selling Bhutanese artifacts like prayer wheels, incense stick holders, Budddha statues etc. Quality was surprisingly better than the ones in the shops in Thimphu's main market but most were very expensive, considering it is a weekend bazaar sort of place. Didnt end up buying anything, but worth a look around. Good photography spot on the bridge.

A gentle stroll through the town's immaculately-kept main market is easily done and highly recommended.

It's one of my favorite spot to mingle with the locals and pick up some of my favorite vegetables. It's quite an experience at the market where you can see vendors trying to sell and people bargaining, it's a busy scene, upstairs, they sell local products and vegetables. You should check out this weekend market- the best day to buy is on Thursdays and Sunday is the most busiest.
