The environment is okay. The building has a few bullet holes, i was told it won't be renovated reason being "they want to preserve their past" it's like a historic site i would say. I attended one of the parliamentary session, the language which they use in parliament is Kinyarwanda. The members of parliament were friendly.

Okay, a bit of history... There are bullet holes in the side of the Parliament. The government chose to leave them as a testimony of what happened in the 1994 genocide. It is a reminder of what was and how far the Rwandans have come.

I drove past the Parliament enough times. There was nothing to write home about the parliament in my opinion, save for the few bullet holes on one side of the building. It also didn't occur to me that it is open to the public, so that could be one of the reasons I do not have much to write about on it. Furthermore, it is a basic building with no unique structural features that would attract one!

passed by the building.the area leading to the parliament is spotlessly clean. The parliament building though requires a coat of paint in my opinion.

it is the oldest building in town and reminds people of the genocide because of the bullet holes..this was caused by the shootings at the time of war
