Comfortable modern hotel

Modern hotel, easy to reach from the airport.
Friendly and efficient service from the staff.

Comfortable room, with wifi.

Good breakfast. Small gym, and rooftop pool overlooking the ocean.

Excellent dinner at the restaurant!

Good hotel

3rd time we visit this hotel. Good connection to the airport and city center. Clean modern rooms and a very friendly staff. Breakfast is not super but after all it isnot such abig deal. Nice experience again.

Beware of the super noisy street - but quiet rooms are available!

We stayed by end of October 2019 for 2 nights at Hotel Perola before leaving back to Germany.
We booked a premium double bed room and as we read comments on TripAdvisor and booking.com that there is a noisy street in front, we already requested a quiet room during the booking process which we then got confirmed by by email.

The room was big, modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. The view was directly to another wall of the next building which was ok for us as having a quiet room was priority no. 1. Water pressure was very good compared to what you have in other hotels in Cabo Verde and air conditioning worked super good. Hotel is located close to the airport which is a 10min drive (= 10 €). There is a pool on the rooftop which we didn't use but the area looked nice - not as modern as on the picture of the website, but just have a look at my picture I upload here.

What I didn't like: the breakfast - there's lots of choices but wasn't my taste and the staff was a bit slow...
Furthermore you could here in your room when someone above relocated a chair and also closing of doors was a bit noisy but all in all still ok.

To sum up: I think it's a great hotel for the last days before flying back, almost perfect of you all for a quiet room.

Absolutely awful

There is literally nothing good to say about this hotel. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. The bar never opened during my visit. The rooms are pretty basic and mine had a charming view of a wall. Do not stay here.

Great spot to stay in Praia

Hi - I recently stayed at the Hotel Perola for 3 nights during the Gambao Music Festival. I thought the hotel facilities were excellent, very conveniently located, rooms spacious and clean, nice restaurant and roof top pool. The food at the restaurant was excellent and with a nice view overlooking the bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here while in Praia. Good value.

Room tip: Request a quiet room an a higher floor
