Love the new venue. Recently relocated to the Fairscape Precinct Lorraine's is conveniently located near Riverwalk but out of the shopping centre vibe.
No TV with blaring sports. Just a beautiful meal with friendly. Our little taste of France

...had a pleasant lunch there today! Very good food and pleasant service. Unfortunately there's a lack of flexibility in adjusting your order, for example I couldn't replace the ice cream with cream when I ordered the French Toast for dessert!...the Steak Tartare meat wasn't as finely chopped as I expected (very chunky to be honest) and had a bit too much mustard.

Menu and food is very good. Service is decent. Location is awful, especially on weekends due to the close proximity of a bottle store and tavern.
Relocation would do this hidden gem wonders.

From outside and the neighbour it looks a bit sketchy, but once you enter it is like you step into a little corner of France. The atmosphere was really relaxing and the French music in the background. It was a bit hot inside but bearable. Food was served fast and fresh. I had the Crepe with Chicken in white wine and mustard sauce for an acceptable price for that big portion. The Crème Brule was a bit burned and not quite set, but the added mixed berries made up for it. The surprise was the apple cider with ginger and cloves in jar, such a simple yet brilliant idea.

A refreshingly different menu from the usual steak and ribs type offerering of most restaurants. The décor and ambience is great, even though we were the only table on a Monday night. Service of course was then efficient, though product knowledge of the menu and drinks was not very good. Waitress did not know the difference between whiskey and brandy. Location, I think was chosen on purpose to bring that local flavour to the French menu. Spelling on menu needs to be edited.
