I stayed here between Xmas and New Years and generally liked this however it is a very large resort style place with alot of people. The lobby is always busy with people checking in and out, getting picked up for tours. There is a large circular dining area where breakfast and other meals are served near the pools. Many nights include local dancers. The overall layout of the place is confusing so expect to get lost finding your building and room but you will get the hang of it.

Friendly service and very comfortable rooms. Great location near the falls and town. Good beds but lumpy pillows. Breakfast buffet is extensive but rather unimaginative. Prepare for mosquitos around your legs at dinner. Baboons, vervet monkeys, and warthogs harmlessly roam the grounds.

The hotel was recommended to us by a South African friend and it did not disappoint. The welcome was friendly and warm. The staff very helpful. Our room well appointed, clean and with a balcony overlooking the gardens and pond. An oasis of calm and serenity.

We only spent two nights at the hotel as we were on our way to South Africa but during our stay we were able to walk along the falls, take a helicopter flight over the falls and witness the sunset on the Zambezi. All this was part of the hotel's package. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to visit the area.

The transport service we received, from pick-up from the airport, drive to the Boma dinner evening, to the heliport and boat was excellent and punctual. The drivers were friendly.

While relaxing on the balcony of our room we watched a kingfisher drive in the pond and eat its catch. We also observed a monitor lizard in the pond.

Room Tip: close to the activities such as walk to the Falls, Helicopter Flights, Boat trip on the Zambezi and more

My wife and I recently stayed at the kingdom hotel at victoria falls. The hotel has a rustic african theme, with the rooms surrounding a central pond and pools. The hotel was recently rebranded so there are changes underway at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and neat. Mosquitos do become an issue in spring and summer so carry extra bug spray. The food at the pool bar has good alternatives to the hotel buffet options, although nights eating at the pool bar are disturbed by mosquitos. The hotel has a direct gate across from the pool area through the nature reserve directly to the vic falls park entrance. You may find people trying to sell you stuff on the path so dont walk alone or late hours. Also this path branches off to lookout cafe which is highly recommended for the views, activities and food. The kingdom hotel is also next door to the victoria hotel, where you can have high tea between 3-5 daily while overlooking the vic falls and bridge. An easy way to get around town is to get the safari hotel shuttle bus from across the road outside the Zimbabwe bank, the bus goes around town and stops at all the best tourist spots. The shuttle bus will also take you to the safari hotel which has a free daily vulture feeding at 1pm. The hotel is also in walking distance to OK shopping center where you can buy snacks and things to eat. For the affordable price this hotel has an excellent central location and is very popular with familys.

Dear Woobashen P

It is gratifying to learn that you enjoyed your time with us here at The Kingdom at Victoria Falls. I have noted your comment on the mosquitoes and I hope the mosquito spray, lotion and repellent that are in the rooms brought some relief to you.

I look forward to welcoming you back at the hotel.
