Outstanding service, luxurious accommodation and delicious food. This remains my favourite lodge in Harare - thanks to Lindsay, Emma and all the staff for making our stay so special. It really, really is world class.

Room tip: Try out one of the new suites - they are outstanding.

This boutique lodge is absolutely stunning! Whether passing through Harare or staying a week, this is the ONLY place to stay!! The idyllic setting only serves to compliment the beautifully appointed guest rooms and main areas. There is a lovely wet bar for welcome and evening drinks and a crystal blue swimming pool hugging the main areas. Our room was simply lovely. High ceilings and beautiful furnishings throughout the lodge made us feel right at home. The owner has quite the eye for interior design. I would not have changed a thing! Great wifi and delicious breakfast in the morning. This is a quiet hotel and very safe. Would not think twice about staying at HIghlands House again if I pass through Harare. It is a must! Easy transfers back to the airport as well. Awesome stay, wish it had been longer!

After a very long journey from Lusaka, it was a joy to see friendly and welcoming faces at reception. Even though the kitchen had closed, dinner was arranged and all our queries were answered. The wifi and TV service was very good and rooms airy and clean. As it was cold in the evenings there was an extra duvet on the bed which was needed. The food was very good quality and the surroundings and garden very peaceful. I know when my sister has business in Harare again she will come here.
