We stayed for 2 nights and we loved it. It's amazing to sleep in a tent in the mettle of nowhere. Our tent was very big, with a nice bathroom (running hot/cold water, sink and normal toilet) and the beds were comfortably. The view was amazing and the staff was so kind. Always trying to do the best for you. The food is tasty and there is enough of it. The only thing we didn't like was that we only stayed 2 nights. We will sure come back for more.

We stayed 3 nights at this camp during our Kenya + Tanzania safari at the end of August. We stayed in multiple camps, but this one was my favorite. It is a nice balance between comfort and nature. It is surrounded by nature (the camp not fenced) but is safe and has all necessary commodities (electricity, hot water). The camp is close to the Serengeti NP. Daniel, manager, and all staff were friendly.

We were 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). During our stay the camp had a very few visitors, so we were offered 2 huge accommodations for 4 people each. The camp offered a night safari which we tried.
Recommend!

Ikoma safari camp is located just outside Serengeti National Park - which is a great place to do night safari (since night safari inside the park is not allowed). The dining area had a nice view with sunset, the cabin was old fashioned (in a positive way) and spacious. Even though high season, we were the only guests for the night. The staff was friendly and personal and they all did their best to make our stay comfortable. The food was okey:)

We arrived in Ikoma late in the evening with no accomodation . The first place we called 860 $ to take us in. We called Ikoma Safari Camp who took us in without taking any advantage over our situation. We had a nice man guideing us to the Camp. The had food ready in 30 min and there were hot water in the shower . Nice lodges in the outskirts of Serengeti with no fences . We heard the elephants fighting in the night. The staff were very friendly and so service minded. When we left the have us lunchboxes and guided us out towards the gate. Thank you all !

We found them by accident and we are happy we did once the reservation details got figured out over the phone with the manager (should not be needed). They allowed us to camp even though that is not normally the case, they were extremely polite, kind, accommodating, and attentive. The food was delicious and made to order. I would say do not try to find them on your own, and make a reservation ahead of time.
