It was not bad, but after a few days here we noticed that it was extremely overpriced for what it was. The food wasn't great either (oily and deluted).
The setting is not bad though, but we were expecting great food.

We walked from Oudayas Kasbah to this little and tidy restaurant which is riyad. We have started with Moroccan Appetizer and bread. Main course is Chicken Tanjine. Desert is fresh fruit and Moroccan cookie with hot mint tea.

This restaurant is small but service is good.

If you would like to have an experience with Moroccan Food not far from an attraction place, Oudayas Kasbah, it is a good choice.

Thank Panyawat T

I have been in Rabat for 4 nights based in the Medina. It seems that i have tried all other restaurants in Medina. Some of those i have even went to more than once. Anyways, the service is very friendly. The seating area is good. Chill Morroccan Music playing which give a good ambience to the place as a whole. The menu is quite poor with 5 or so set menus. Of entree, main dish, deserts and drink you can't swap and the set menus range from 250-350 MAD around 30 euros which is outrageously expensive compared to Morroccan prices. For example, this is at least double what you pay at one of the higher ranked places at trip advisor, but i was cool on this point as i thought the food was going to be exceptional. Nonetheless, i was shocked first the collection of salad they brought was kinda interesting (6 different mini plates of different Morrocan salades) some tasted bad some ok and some good. When it comes to the main dish i asked for the Tajine de poulet au olives menu but it was a complete disaster could not even finish it. It seemed that it was cooked hours before and then was just heates to be served. The pastilla for the desserts was beyond mediocre (was very greasy for some reason). Other places serves better pastilla. In general, the food was not fresh, overly priced by more than double. I am even writing the review while i am still in the restaurant. Again i personally i would not have mind the same price if food and seating area were exceptional but with the current state I wouldn't even eat there for 100 MAD

What a fabulous meal and memory. This is a hidden gem located on a side street in the Medina in Rabat. The service was great, the decor was beautiful and the food was delicious.

Positive: food is decent, don't get diarrhea after, pretty good service since focused on tourists

Negatives: entire place was tourists. It's made for tourists not locals. Menu is fixed so that you must have appetizer, entree dessert, you do not have option to choose just entree.
