We stayed here in December for 4 nights. It was cold, but the heaters in the rooms kept them perfectly warm. The location is very good as it's in a quiet part of the medina. The breakfasts are traditional and filling, and Fatima provided an alternative breakfast for a person in our group with allergies to gluten and dairy. Fatima is a special person who made our stay in Meknes one that we will not forget. She went well beyond what most hosts will do for their guests, and made sure we had all the advice we needed and made great recommendations. It was my birthday and she even let us make a cake in her kitchen, then took us over to the communal oven to bake it. We really did feel like we were at home and if we return to Meknes, we will only stay here.

Fatima is awesome and unusual person, her story about Amazigh people always will be in our heart. Staying in Riad was excellent and we were feeling like home. The building is majestic and decorated by paintings and antique furniture. All the rooms have air-conditioned. The breakfast was tasty and Fatima told us how to cook the same marmalade at home . Fatima suggested best quality restaurants for dinner and helped us with travel plans. Wish all the best and hope to see you again one day! Thanks Fatima.

Fatima the owner is an absolute delight & couldn't do enough for us. It felt like home but better! Not far from Bab Mansour, & major tourist attractions & walking distance to grand taxi stands for Azrou/Fes & for or Moulay Idriss/Volubilis. Would not stay anywhere else if we came again.

Fatima met us at the Bab Mansour when we arrived, showed us where to park, and took us to her Riad in the old Medina. It is 1 alley off the main alley in the Medina, so it is nice and quiet but close to the busy area. Fatima oriented us, gave us a history of the Amazigh culture and background. We took the rooftop room, which was spacious and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. (Note: dont expect 5 star type accommodations; but the accommodations are comfortable; and it is the host and staff that make this so much more than an impersonal 5 star hotel). Fatima went out of her way to show us around, take us to a nice pizza place (had got tired of Tajine by now). We requested vegetable omelettes for breakfast, and Fatima and Hannah had those prepared for us; fresh piping hot, with cafe and fresh squeezed orange juice of course.
Great place to stay at, Very warm hosts.

Our stay at Riad Amazigh was delightful. Fatima, the owner and our lovely host, was willing to pick us up from Bab Mansour where we arrived. When we arrived at the riad she told us we could have a free upgrade of our room. We stayed at the room on the rooftop, which was great. It's spacious, clean and perfect to relax after visiting the crowded medina.
When we went out for dinner and we were trying to find the place we wanted to go on the map, Fatima told us no problem and walked us there.

We had a breakfast on the rooftop, served by the lady working for Fatima. She, like Fatima did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Would definitely recommend staying at Riad Amazigh when visiting Meknes!
Thank you Fatima and your great staff!
