I am very disappointed with this shop.

Shop assistance Youssef claims that everything in his shop is handmade, and that all the stuff he makes himself. He showed me an Argan Oil pressing machine at the back of his shop. So I was convinced that despite big prices his whop will offer true quality. He is offering perfumes, soaps, herbal tea, argan oil, creams, spices etc.

After buying quite a few items Youssef did not give me any discount, not even 1 dirham! Normally, if you buy several items in Moroccan Medina, you will get a discount, but he made me pay full price, as was showing in a price tag. And remember, his prices are many times higher than elsewhere.

Having returned to my home country, not only the perfumes I bought have leaked (despite being sealed in a plastic cover), but they did not smell the same as in the shop. The smell reminded me of my toilet cleaning products. For the price I paid for them I could have better bought a Chanel perfume!

The quality of the products in this shop are just like that of rogue sellers on Jemaa Square (with a price tag of 10-20 times more).

I don’t mind paying 10 times more, if I am getting a quality product in return. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. Save your money and time!

My friend and I just got back from Marrakech. We had really nice time and on our last day we decided to treat ourselves with a nice perfumes. So we went into the shop, everything was clean and nicely presented. The owner was very friendly. Prices were high but we didn't mind paying for a good quality products. It is how we thought they were good quality. Once I arrived home and opened the perfume I was shocked , it was absolutely different smell, nothing to do with the original perfume they have in their tester bottles!!!!!! I was very disappointed with my purchase. I believe it is very unfair to customers!!!!

So I wanted to go on a trip in Morocco and as a woman I had to buy large quantities of argan oil and other beauty products, typical for the country. I read so many articles and reviews on the net and even on TripAdvisor, but still wasn't sure and convinced which is the best place to go. I checked some when there and wasn't sure in the quality offered. I learned that in Marrakech I will always be fucked up, because it's almost impossible to find the "true thing". I asked in my hotel, which I liked very much, so I trusted the staff as well. They told me about this place Aromatimri and I decided to give it a try. I entered and find a totally different place from all the others in Marrakech - only there the Argan was placed in glass bottles ( even though not dark ones) and in aluminium containers, as it is supposed to be. The smell was a bit strange to me, but it's the true one and the sediment was there as it should be ... the color also was the true one. The staff showed me how they produce it, it's not extracted by hand as it is supposed to be, they use a machine to do it, but I didn't care about this. I don't know how much this is essential for the final quality of the product, but it was the only option I had. In other places where they pretend to extract the oil by hand, the oil was definitely mixed with olive oil AND I DO KNOW THAT SENT VERY WELL. So it wasn't real anyways. So in Aromatimri the products seemed to be what they are supposed to be. I was of course impressed by the hospitality and professionalism of Youssef and he was very confident in his work. I bought large quantities of Argan, then some black soap (an amazing product), Argan butter (love it!), the glove to scrub the body (heavenly soft skin after use!), and of course some Saffron, which is the Morrocan or rouge as YSL says. Still haven't tested it, but should be extremely precious. Bottom line I wish Youssef was offering the option to buy online, but I hope is coming soon! We wait for the website to get ready too! Greetings from Milan, Youssef! I hope to see you soon again! :) and good luck!

They shop is amazing. It has a very big variety of oils including Argan oil and herbs oils-all of them smell so good!! I got a bottle of the bamboo oil, its quality is very high and it has a beautiful smell. Besides that I got the girofle cosmetic oil which is also great.
If you are in Marrakech and you want to get some beautiful cosmetics for you or your friends, this shop is highly recommended for visiting!

Well laid out shop with a friendly and informative owner who is happy to talk to you about the products he makes on site (he'll show you the argon oil press too). The ingredients are pure and the scents are lovely - not too strong like all the other shops in Marrakech that we found. We wanted several of one type of soap so he made it for us on the spot and made us tea while we waited. He is able to communicate his passion for the ingredients and the benefits of his products in many languages (but without the hard sell that you usually get in Marrakech!) and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit and great for gifts for family or friends.
