Riad is conveniently located near the main square and other attractions and easy to find. Though near the square it felt private and quiet and the rooms were comfy and neat. But best of all was Abdul, the lovely, manager, not on,y as his English impeccable, but he as the sweetest guys a great cook who made us a home-cooked dinn r whichweenjoyed in the dar's garden. Thank you, Abdul, for making our stay memorable and warm.

We stayed in Marrakech for 4 days, spent 2 nights in Dar Tamlil and wish we had stayed longer. The location is great. Very quick access to Djemma el Fna square and other touristic sites in Medina. The room is cosy and comfortable. The roof terrace is lovely. But most important of all is the staff. Abdul is who made our stay in Dar Tamlil as enjoyable as it was. Marrakech is a very touristic city and there are many people out there in the Medina trying to take money from tourists by being dishonest. It is very important that you have someone local that you can trust, and don't need to second guess if the person has a connection with the place recommended. Abdul is that person for us. He gave us all the best information, from places to eat, rate of transportation, to best place to exchange our US dollars. He is welcoming, speaks good English, and is always polite and not pushy. A unique character that is rare to find on the street of Marrakech. We have stayed in other lovely Riads in other places in Morocco, but Abdul is what makes this place unique. We will stay in Dar Tamlil when we return to Marrakech without a question.

Room Tip: We stayed in the room on the first floor and it was comfortable.

Stayed here last year with friends and forgotten I'd not written a review! Comes highly recommended from us, we loved our 2 night stay here. Great location just a few minutes walk from the main square. All the noise, buzz and general craziness of Marrakesh cannot be heard once inside though, it's like a little oasis of peace in the midst of chaos! Can be a little tricky to find at first so best to arrange a transfer with the owner and someone will escort you to the property. The room was spacious, decorated in typical Moroccan style with comfy beds. We enjoyed our complimentary mint tea in the tranquillity of the courtyard and the delicious fresh breakfasts on the roof terrace. The terrace itself is a great sun trap and offers fantastic views of the city. The staff were welcoming and always helpful with providing information. There are many Riads in Marrakesh with an almost unlimited choice of places to stay but there's no need to look any further than this one.
