One thing Book early so u don't miss out on staying here!!

Everything here was perfact! Rooms amazing, service impeccable, staff friendley and could not do enough for you.

We arrived with no luggage - Jean and his staff called the airport on several occasions for us to get and we believe that thanks to them we got it back after two days!

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip both rooms perfact!

We will def be going back to morocco and will be staying here again!

Riad Dar One was recommended by our personal travel advisor Maureen Murphy (maureen.murphy@co-operativepta.co.uk) who arranged a fantastic 4 day trip to Marrakech. Jean and his team provided excellent personal service in an authentic well appointed Riad, and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Our group of 10 had the Riad to ourselves and we all quickly felt at home and very relaxed in this oasis of serenity from the chaos that is Marrakech, Jean was extremely helpful before we arrived and on hand during our stay to provide advice and guidance. Our trip included a tour of the city, a day in the beautiful Ourika Valley, a hot air balloon flight, a cooking course, a quad bike excursion and a relaxing morning in an Hamman, but we always looked forward to returning to Riad dar One.

Pros: transportation to and from airport and train station; English and French speaking friendly and helpful staff, a decent breakfast, clean, AC rooms, a nice lounge with chairs and a water fountain in the courtyard, great location - 10 minutes walk to the market, post office, and other attractions including the hamams.
Cons: This place is slightly overhyped with 340+ reviews... the rooms were small and had windows in the weirdest of places - between the bed and the corridor(!!!), the shower and stairs (!!), and the was basin and the stairs (!)...luckily all these windows can be closed/shuttered to prevent straying eyes. The Riad itself is located at the back of a narrow (2 people can walk side by side, and so no vehicle can reach it) with a few turns and you almost expect to get mugged in some corner. Try to reach the riad during daylight hours so that you dont panic...
Overall - Though their service and rooms are great, I may try a different place next time, just to see what other places are like....

We had the most amazing honeymoon, at riad dar one. All the staff were amazing, Jean especially recommended some amazing restaurants and we wish we could come back tomorrow! Marrakech is an amazing city but when it all gets to much it was so nice to head back to the riad and relax by the Rose petal pool. Thank you so much for such a rememberable trip x

Needed to get away for a few days R&R....found Riad Dar One via internet. Did my research. Was not disappointed. Great location near near Medina, Kasbah and old Jewish Quarter. Fantastic Riad. Jean and his team are excellent hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Recommended restaurants and trips and then organised straight away. Arranged airport transfers. Would not hesitate in recommending this Riad. Perfect base for trip to Marrakech and the Atlas mountains.
