Outstanding staff and service, they went out and beyond in everything to make our stay a pleasant one and they made us feel just like it was our own home! All credit to them!

But...
it was obvious that management does not pay much attention to maintenance after the major renovation a few years back - which is a pity as the place got potential. Several broken lightbulbs in the room and outside, stained and dusty furniturecovers and curtains, dirty sunscreens at the rooftops, one shower not functioning well because of bad water pressure and the other one overflowing because of bad sewage, a charming decorative pool w roses but with scrap in it at the bottom, dead cockroaches in the bathroom in the morning. A power socket even came loose from the wall when trying to charge my iPad - quite dangerous as we had three children with us (the staff covered the socket hole in the wall with a cardboard and tape within minutes).

With the friendly atmosphere, welcoming tea, good location, large rooms to fit a family of 2+3 (even though one child had to sleep on a tin mattress on the floor), nice breakfast (egg, youghurt, pancakes, bread and fresh juice), two rooftop lounge areas, peaceful and quiet in the night, clean sheets - this would have been a nice place if only maintenance would have been better.

Room Tip: Two rooms on ground floor are larger

My parents and I stayed at the Riad Nora for 3 nights in October. We had a lovely time! The Riad organized an airport pickup. The Riad had a delicious dinner prepared for the night we arrived (with a special cake for my mom's birthday) and they also organized dinner for us on our second night at Dar Essalam.

The service was wonderful! Aziz and Mohammad were very helpful - amazing hospitality. I recommend staying here during your visit to Marrakech!

I stayed at Riad Nora in June 2017 with 3 friends on our first trip to Morocco.
This Riad is just as wonderful as the city of Marrakesh. Initially we booked our stay here due to the prime location in the Medina and the reasonable costs but after our stay I cannot say how much value for money Riad Nora is. The breakfasts are wonderfully prepared, the upkeep of the riad is superb and the staff are very helpful whether it be for general queries, booking taxi's too and from the airport or organising excursions out of the city.
Thanks again to Riad Nora for a very memorable holiday.

Me and two of my friends stayed here for 8 nights and we loved it! The people working here are so nice and helpful. They served us very good and varied breakfast with fresh pressed orange juice and eggs every day. After long days of walking around and exploring Marrakech it was always so nice to come back to the riad. We always felt so safe and relaxed there, as it can be pretty stressful as 3 young girls travelling in Morocco alone. Overall an amazing stay and experience, would really recommend.

My family and I had an incomparable stay at Riad Nora. This Riad was an oasis of calm to return to after the fantastic buzz of the souk and square. We were welcomed by Aziz who gave us some refreshing mint tea and lovely sweet nutty snacks along with some really useful intro and advice on sightseeing in Marrakech.

The room was large and air conditioned and just perfect for our needs. But what really surpassed our expectations was the terrace and the lovely little courtyard with the plunge pool which was just perfect to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. We had the Riad to ourselves for a couple of nights and it genuinely felt like being at home.

Mohammed was the staff member we saw most of and he was, simply put, superman! No request was too much trouble, from random shopping questions, advice on the best bureau de change to help with locking ourselves out of our safe multiple times - and he always did everything with a smile.

We had dinner on the terrace on our last night in Marrakech and the home made food was far superior to most of our restaurant meals (bar perhaps Un Dejeuner a Marrakech, check it out if you can!) They are both fantastic cooks and the breakfasts were something we looked forward to every day.

The staff definitely made our stay at Riad Nora and the beautiful, authentic decor and building were perfect too. The Riad will definitely be our base on our next visit to Marrakech! Thanks again to all the staff!
