Location: in the Unesco listed madina in Marrakech. A short walk to jemaa al fana square and Saadian tombs.
Facility: a hotel consisting of five chic and luxurious riads. A swimming pool, a small gym, a spa, souvenir shop, a restaurant on the swimming pool and another one on the roof top. and. Cooking classes are available at the roof top. Breakfast buffet is provided pool side up to 11 am. They provide local home made sweets for sale, I bought some as gifts.
Check in: Saeeda gave a pleasant first impression, thanks for a warm welcome.
Room: I checked into two different rooms, the first one was too small dark, clustered and kind of depressing. I asked for an upgrade, and paid the difference, to a bigger room with brighter colors in bahia riad.
Conciege: very attentive.
House keeping: consistent but not too generous.
Over all: a very nice authentic special hotel in the heart of old madina. Being there feels like being in a fairy tale house. However, one thing that I thought the hotel lacked was generosity, for example, complimentary water is given only at check in and after you have to pay for it. I just can’t remember the last time I paid for water in a hotel.
