The moment we met Mustafa (our guide) & Ahmed (our driver), we already felt comfortable because of their warm & friendly attitude. One of the things Mustafa asked was, “what did you want to get out of Morocco?” We said, history, culture, and most importantly, FOOD! So our driver Ahmed bought us some cactus fruit that he asked us to try. I thought it would taste like kiwi, but it was better than that. It was very sweet and juicy. Then prior to our camel ride, they served us Berber pizza, which consists of meat and spices. It was flavorful and quite delicious. We were very appreciative of the fact that they were paying attention to what we wanted to experience, which was to try their local foods. Overall, the tour was quite memorable because we were fortunate to have two wonderful, thoughtful, warm, friendly, and hilarious people. To Mustafa and Ahmed, we want to thank you for being kind and thoughtful. Until we meet again..... from Mama Sita and Margarita!!!!

First up this is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review like this I usually get back home and get busy and forget. This tour however was unforgettable and will stay with us for ever.My husband and I were recommended this tour company by friends of ours who had previously travelled with them. We are so pleased we took their advice and booked a 14 night trip from Casablanca to Marrakesh with Rough Tours . In the planning stages Youssef was very easy to deal with and answered the any questions we had and payment for the tour was not a problem as they have several options. The fun and adventure really started when we met out amazing travel guide Mohamed!
What a privilege it was to see the country of Morocco through the eyes of this amazing young Moroccan man. We loved every part of our trip as Morocco is not only such an interesting and amazing place to visit but because Mohamed willingly shared his knowledge and Berber culture with us. We are so pleased we chose to take a 15 day tour as we really felt we got to see all the highlights of the country. The highlight for us however was definitely our time in the Sahara-4wd drive river crossings in the rain soaked desert, camel trekking in Merzouga and our time in Ramlia Village. Perhaps the experience that will stay with us the most was when Mohamed took us to his friend's Berber Wedding. We were so lucky to witness the singing, traditions and sharing of the amazing Berber culture. Throughout this experience Mohamed ensured we felt comfortable and explained the traditions and stages of the ceremony for us. We cannot thank Rough Tours and particularly Mohamed enough for the experiences you gave us. You won't regret booking with this company!

We have decided to go to Morocco a week before our trip - silly or adventurous, name it. Most of the contacted agencies rejected our request or asked whether we were investigating .... next year schedule.
Youssef and Rough Tours were professional, encouraging and trustworthy from the fist contact. It was too beautiful to be true :-).
But indeed it was - despite our delayed flight, our guide Ali welcomed us at the airport
and we quickly feel in love with him: his knowledge of the country, reliability and great sense of humor.
In 8 days, we visited most of the highlights of Morocco, often far from the beaten tracks and crowds of tourists. Many places were mesmerizing, especially Chefchaoeun, Fez and its old medina, beautiful Atlas mountains, Merzouga and the trip to the desert (we still find some sand in our boots) with music classes and dances at night, gorgeous kasbah on the way, fun in the movie studio in Ouarzazate - to name a few.
In the meantime, we spent hours driving through amazing landscapes and discussing about the country, made great encounters, pictures and voluntarily spent money on shopping (with great but discreet assistance of our guide).
I cannot thank Rough Tours for all fantastic adventure and highly recommend this travel agency to anyone who would like to visit Morocco with standard or tailored trip.
Last but not least - all matters relating to the payment were quickly addressed, flexible and fully transparent.
Go to Morocco with them!

This was a fabulous way to see Morocco. The driver and all guides spoke English. The diversity of landscapes were terrific and our accomodation at all places was comfortable, private and most had reasonable WiFi available. Breakfasts and dinners provided were fresh, traditional and plentiful. Our driver was very accommodating and personable. He explained a lot of Moroccan and Berber history which added to the richness of this journey. All communications with the company was smooth and effortless. We do not hesitate to recommend this company to other travellers.
