Morning, Noon and night. The place give so many perspectives of lives. Please in different days try to see different times of the day of your trip. Eat, listen , smell , see , touch , take a photo and try to dance with locals . Maybe you could think differently but be sure to take your place of this show.

I loved this place. By day it was a frying pan of snake charmers and, unfortunately, poorly looked after monkeys. By night this place comes to life! Thousands of people, hundreds of places to eat traditional food, but be wary of places trying to rip you off, and lots of sellers and sounds.

You also cannot forget the orange juice sellers. These guys are amazing, all fighting over getting your sale of exactly the same thing! Some may try and sell you 15-20dirham juices but just stick to the 4 dirham orange. It is very refreshing.

We visited the square several times over our holiday. The orange juice is very nice but do make sure its not watered down with ice. I recommend stall 19. The henna women were a little forceful. There are some great places to watch the world go by from a terrace cafe or restaurant. I found it all a little too touristy and there was a lot of people bothering us. Although we never went during the night which I have heard is nice with all the lights etc.

This is a very strange city with so many donkeys, bikes and motorbikes trying to access very narrow streets that Jemaa El Fna is a welcome retreat. To just have so much space as it is a very large square. There are plenty of places to stop for food and drinks, especially those selling fresh orange, which is very cool and refreshing and costs only about 30p.
