I have eaten many times in Dar Najat's Kitchen and I am never disappointed. The traditional Moroccan food is freshly cooked and their choice of menu is always superb with lots of different salads to start.... a fish stew or lamb tagine and all served by friendly staff who are attentive when required. The atmosphere on the terrace overlooking the beautiful views of Marrakech at night is so good...you can spend the whole evening enjoying the amazing food and listening to some great music too....you must try it!

Be prepared to have a nice conversation with the owner, he has a talent speaking about life, it's like he has lived 7 lives and worked for 60 years... His efforts for you to enjoy your night are not common and make the whole experience of spending some hours at his Riad great.

We had heard such good things about this restaurant. It was empty. The food was average to below and only just warm. Service was chirpy but almost non-existent. We were close to leaving 20 minutes after we arrived but stayed out of politeness and awkwardness. The interior was hippy and quite cosy and the highlight was the music. Fantastic sounds. No menus. No choice. If you don't like what they put on the table you go home hungry.

After reading several positive reviews we have decided that we want to make our own opinion about this place.........indeed we really liked it and had very nice evening. The house transfered into restraurant run by jung men ... made our dinner special .... prices were reasonabble and staff was very friendly. If you are up to discover new spots about Marrakech we do recommend to try this restaurant.

To avoid a drama getting to this restaurant, we called in advance and then met one of the workers at Cafe De France, the riad is a 5-10 minute walk away from the main square.

The food served at this excellent, there was no menu but a set meal option, the starters were four different vegatable dishes, they were lovely. Then came the main course, it was the kefta tagine, it was delicious, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices. The dessert was a mix of fresh fruits, served with some fresh cream, a fitting end to a great meal.

The service we had was the best, the waiters were around when we needed them but then went away and left us alone. There were two waiters looking after us, they were very friendly and always smiling.

The riad itself it a wonderful place to chillout, you feel so relaxed when you are there, the staff leave you to eat at your own pace and you feel relaxed, almost like you are at a friends home eating dinner.

The cost of the meal was around £20 each, we found this cost to be very reasonable for the amount of food you get served and the quality of service you get.

Highly recommend you try this place out if you are in Marrakech and looking for traditional home cooked food.
