This beautifully renovated riad is located in the kasbah. About 20 minutes walking to Jemaa el Fna. A peaceful oasis in a vibrant city.
Describing the staff in a few words is impossible. Very helpful, friendly, open minded, communicative, and - so we were told by the girls in our group - good looking.
The last royal stable of Marrakesh is next to the riad.
Nice rooms, beautiful tiling, outdoor dining, and a great view from the roof terrace, especially at sunset.
Simon has done a brilliant job restoring this old house into a wonderful riad. The staff who looked after us were absolutely fantastic - wonderful breakfasts, fresh morrocan mint tea at all times of the day, and brilliant advice regarding Marrakech itself. There is a lovely rooftop terrace too!

Although the room was a bit noisy, we had a good experience staying here. The inside of the riad and the rooms are cool and I can imagine that in the summer it is really nice to sit here in the shade and in the coolness of the place. The rooms are nicely decorated and they have all that you need.
Walking to the city centre takes about 15 minutes. The riad lies in a quiet spot and there are enough shops around to buy food and water.
The people working here were really nice and they put a lot of effort in making us comfortable. Breakfast was also good, the best we had on our trip.
All in all we had a really pleasant experience staying here and I would certainly stay here again.
We spent over a week at Riad Laksiba with a group of 10 people. Located in the Medina, it is easy to walk to the souks and to all the places of interest; also, it is very close to the Cafe Clock, which I would recommend. Car / Taxi access is a little challenging, but the the Baksiba Gate is only a couple of blocks away if you need a larger car to pick you up. The service at the house was excellent. Adil and Abdelhamid were our hosts and they both were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. they helped us with all arrangements, reservations, transportation, etc. Breakfasts and dinners at the Riad were great (probably some of the best meals we had in Morocco). The house itself is very nice and cozy in addition to having a great charm and all the details of the Moroccan style. We really loved it. There were two details that would have made the stay a little more pleasant: the beds were all small twins (two per room) and not terribly comfortable, and the bathrooms are very very simple. No place to put your stuff and shower stall, just a handheld shower head in the corner. It was difficult to take a shower without getting everything in the bathroom soaking wet and standing water all over the floor. I would suggest at the least adding shower curtains. Nevertheless, we had a great time, and left with great memories and a warm feeling toward our new Moroccan friends.
Stunning traditional Riad in a fantastic location! This review is well overdue; we visited for a long weekend to celebrate a friends hen weekend and from the moment we booked, to the moment we departed we were treated far better than I have experienced in many five star resorts.
As a group of young-ish girls, with only a short time in the city the house manager looked after us; arranged taxis for us and ensured we didn't get ripped off and even escorted us to and from a nightclub which was very reassuring and just made the whole trip so much easier and hassle free.
The Riad is superbly clean, we had a home cooked meal the first night which was beautiful and the fridge was kept fully stocked and is so reasonable it's almost daylight robbery!
All in all a fabulous weekend getaway and hopefully one day we can visit again!
Well done to Simon and all of the team!
