An oasis of calm and tranquility amongst the somewhat chaotic, busy and lively city that is Marrakesh and within walking distance of many of the city's tourist attractions and assorted busy souks. - Just keep an eye out for the mopeds!
Gaia and Philippe the owners are charming and extremely helpful, they are only too happy to impart their knowledge and assist with any tour arrangements both within and outside the city. Nothing is too much trouble, whether organising a Kalesh to Jardin Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent museum (must see's), airport taxi transfers or catering for my wife's shellfish allergy.
Miriam the cook provided superb meals, the dinners on the nights we ate in were typical Moroccan fayre, and whilst everything was delicious we thoroughly recommend the mixed salad lunch, lamb tagine, lamb couscous with seven vegetables and beef dumplings, briouats, crème caramel - basically you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu!!
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Marrakesh then in our view this Riad is the perfect place.
