We arrived late after quite a delay at the airport and the outside of the building might not look too amazing - modern, clean but a little drab. However, the door was opened by the Suheel, the evening/nighttime manager - he is the friendliest, most helpful hotelier you will ever meet. He went to great lengths throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. He showed us where to go on maps, he provided a huge delicious breakfast every day, that he can tailor to suit your wishes. Our room was absolutely beautiful and really clean. It was great to go out all morning and come back after lunch to relax in the suntrap garden by the swimming pool in the highest heat of the day before, once rested, going out again for dinner and evening wandering. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and the night manager Suheel just made our stay all it could possibly be!!

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for the big suites that overlook the pool

Nice little hotel with generally very helpful staff. Had two great staff and one not that great, but not too bad. Great location, right by the old town and close by to the new town. The breakfast is extremely filling.

The pool was too cold though, if you’d like a morning swim.

Our bathroom, you could see right into through a clear glass, which was a bit strange. Didn’t mind the shower, as I was with my husband, but the toilet was a bit much. You can’t really see anything unless you are looking but if your not into that kind of thing or going to be sharing with your mum or someone like that, just something to bare in mind.

You can walk to the main square in 15mins or so. We took the wrong turn and ended up in the souks the first day. So tip, the left you need to take is at an obvious cross type road and the market square is opposite a big tower, there’s loads of horse and carriages around...so it’s hard to miss.

The hotel and our room flooded when we were there, hence why I haven’t given it top marks. They were great and moved us, but the room we got moved into stank and you could hear a lot of noise in the room, people walking past, flushing of toilets and walking upstairs. We were moved back to our old room, no problem, but was a slight inconvenience to the trip. They fixed the problem, so hopefully not an issue when/if you stay.

Would recommend it overall for a trip to Marrakesh.

So nice and comfortable hotel. The staff is very helpful. One of the best things was to outside the medina but close enough to it. It Is about 10 min walking. Safe environment until 21.00 more or less. After that just pick up a taxi and perfect.
The medina for being at night is a bit crazy and not so safe at least for two women.
I will repeat and recommend it.

We stayed for 4 nights in Darsor in early November. The place is fantastic, very clean, very comfortable and with all facilities you could want. The location is also great - located between the old city and the new city. We walked everywhere from the hotel.
The staff were fantastic, especially Abdou who was so friendly and accommodating.
Aziz looked after us really well in the mornings too.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech. You won't regret it.

An amazing 7 night stay at beautiful Darsor. From the very first day when we arrived late in the evening, we received the warmest welcome with mint tea after a long day of flying.
We received so many tips from all the staff, when we had no set plans for the week. They were always eager to help.
Our room was huge with a lovely bathroom. Along with the room, the whole hotel was squeaky clean!
The breakfast was great, and had the best orange juice in town. The location of Darsor is fantastic too, a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Here we found quality time to rest by the pool and sleep exceptionally well in our huge bed after busy days being tourists.
Thank you Aziz, Abdou, Soukaina and the other staff for a brilliant stay. We will be back next year!
