This lovely Riad will welcome you and take care of everything that you might need. The staff was superb and the accommodations were beautiful and historically significant. I would recommend this Riad without question.

When we arrived we were impressed by the interior of this riad. It was especially romantic and full of character. We were welcomed by Zak who was extremely hospitable, ordered for us some mint tea and also gave us a tour of the riad explaining traditions, the beautiful rooms and furniture. He upgraded us to suite Zoubika which was traditionally decorated and had a beautifully-tiled round, huge tub in the bathroom. The only drawback of this room was the lack of hot water. In fact on the third day we were offered to change rooms by the most helpful Janet, but since it was our last day it was not practical for us to switch. However we kept the other room offered for shower purposes only. Breakfast was good, served in the riad's central courtyard. No problems with Wifi connection and staff were always helpful and smiling. While staying there, I had a bad cold and Zak came to the rescue with hot water, honey, lemon, cumin and ginger. Thanks Zak and Janet for being so helpful.

Room tip: Ground-floor rooms are best for people travelling with heavy luggage.

We spent two nights at Riad El Yacout and couldn’t have been happier. The physical space is lavish, peaceful and huge. The staff, including Badr, Jahan, Mehdi, Zac and Samo, all went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The food was amazing, both the gargantuan breakfasts and the four course dinners. The only downsides were specific to our room - being in the outer reaches of the Riad (the place is huge) we were never able to connect to WiFi in the room, and the plumbing drains in the bathroom had not been installed correctly so we did get some odor, but given the length of our stay neither was a huge issue. Will definitely book here again.

We stayed 2 nights. Our room was highly decorated with windows and door facing the inside courtyard. After dinner hours, there was no noise which was a pleasant surprise. After full day travel or touring, we chose to have our dinners at the hotel. The food was copious and the staff super attentive. It was chilly so the hotel had gas heaters next to the tables. Our room was warm due to a good working heater. The tap water took some time to get hot and the shower water pressure was low but all manageable. The hotel is in the Fès Médina so very well located. I would definitely recommend El Yacout.
