We had a very beautiful suite, with a fireplace, as it was cold in the evenings (end of november) we enjoyed the fire very much! I was coming back from a Hamman and my husband had lit the fireplace.
The Hamman was very nice and relaxing and i like it very much.

The staff of the Riad is very very nice and helpful and funny. And the location of the Riad is also outstanding, in the middle of the medina. You enter the place and you feel in paradise!

Thanks to the staff!

Maria and Patrick

This Riad was our absolute favorite during our 3 weeks in Morocco. We were upgraded to a beautiful and spacious suite. The location is right at the heart of Fes and it’s just a gorgeous riad. The food was wonderful and the hammam and massage were great. We also enjoyed petting their 2 beautiful black labs. A must stay when in Fes!!

We arrived around 15 mins late because everything in Fez is impossible to find. They were incredibly welcoming and very professional. I chose it based on great reviews as well as the fact that my boyfriend and I could do the hammam together. The women who did the hammam walked us through everything that they were doing before they did it and helped us Americans understand the custom of a hammam. So relaxing and our skin felt amazingly smooth after. Lovely experience, would recommend to anyone who wants a traditional hammam with their significant other.

This property is a lovingly restored and beautifully maintained Riad in the heart of the Medina. Our spacious room on the top floor looked out to the magnificent garden courtyard below, and the marble, stone tiles, colored glass, and old wooden doors evoked the elegance of a bygone era. Breakfast and dinner are taken on the rooftop terrace, which offers a sweeping view of the Medina and the mountains beyond. (Note: the steep stairs from the ground floor to the terrace will be challenging for those with mobility issues.) The pool is a tranquil retreat after a long, hot day walking around the city.

I would characterize the staff here as friendly and accommodating but young, and as a result the service might be considered "relaxed." For example, we arrived at the Riad in the late afternoon, following a long drive from the desert. After standing about in the courtyard for some minutes, we tracked down someone to inquire about a cool drink and when we might be shown our room! Being offered water upon arrival or a tour of the property, or simply being escorted to our rooms promptly would have been appreciated! We took dinner at the Riad that evening, one of a few parties on the terrace. After being seated, it seemed like we were forgotten - until I waved the staff person over and asked if dinner would be served that night! Things improved after that. One more example: we had ordered a transfer to Casablanca Airport through the Riad when we originally booked our stay; we confirmed the transfer when we checked-in. But on the morning of departure, the staff person on duty had no idea whether he was to have ordered the car!

There were a few other instances of "relaxed" service, but let's not quibble! We would return to Laaroussa in a minute. But please put some bottled water in the room on our next visit!

We loved everything about this amazingly gorgeous riad. The decor and atmosphere is stunning and cozy, but most importantly, the team is incredible. The hospitality is just the best - so warm, authentic and incredibly generous with service, suggestions and ensuring our stay was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer - Fez is a remarkable city, and the team at Riad Laaroussa is the best.
Thank you for providing us with a memory that will stay with us for a lifetime.
We hope to see you again one day.
