This is a small park that is best for families with smaller children who are not ready for the huge water slides. Nothing is off limits. Discounts are given for afternoon starts. It is suited for fun with less crowds then the bigger more suited for teens parks in the area. Across the road is Pioneer Park with it's old time train and reenactments of pioneer life on the prairies making the trip to Aurora a full day.

Moments after paying they made an announcement that the main pool would be closed for the rest of the day. I asked the cashier why and her response was "I don't know, probably health code violation - water clarity." Her response was as if this wasn't an isolated occurrence. No refunds were given, because the other water areas were still open. Who would want to continue swimming at a water park that doesn't meet health code standards? Not me.

First the CONS: Arrived to find a paper sign changing opening time from 10:30am to 12 noon, disappointing! After waiting in a long line for the opening, the workers were unable to get the sales windows uncovered and mass confusion on the different lines at the windows. From here-say we learned 1 window was for Groupons and the other for full paying. We asked to rent a lock for a locker and they said they were all gone. Strange since we were about the 20th in line and there were hundreds of lockers inside and not 1 with a lock on it!

Now for the PROS: There were plenty of lifeguards all over the place, so this is a relatively safe place to take kids. The lazy river was fun for both kids and adults. The 2 watersides were fun for the older kids. There were plenty of chairs around the pool area and some in covered spaces to protect from the sun.

All in all, it was a good time!

I took my 15, 6, and 5 year olds and they all enjoyed it. There are 2 tube slides, nice pool area, lazy river, and gated off kids area. The lawn chairs are covered by pagodas and some in the sun. The concessions were refreshing and I was very pleased to see healthy choices too like carrots and apples w/caramel. We will definitely be back!

Wether you have young children or a group of adults this place is great. There's no long lines for the slides, the lazy river is always a hit & it's very clean.
