This is a mediocre motel in a nice city. Days Inn is a hit or miss type of motel. Some are great and some,. well, you wont be back. This one was close to the latter for me. 1st thing I noticed was the swimming pool. It was empty. When I asked about it, II could not get a straight answer. Entering the room, It appeared clean but warm, I had to turn on the AC. Not really acceptable on a hot day. I Turned on The AC and went out to get something to eat. Plenty of restaurants withing walking distance. Returning to the room, it had cooled down but I noticed an odd smell coming from the AC ?? The WiFi worked well and I was able to get some work done however there was no desk in the smallish room. There was a flat screen TV that had a good selection of channels. The room itself was fairly clean but the curtain rod over the bath tub was bent so could not close the shower curtain all the way when taking a shower. Water on the floor. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was no big deal consisting of Coffee, Juice and bagels. With a little bit of work management could turn this into a place that people would want to come back to. I'll pass for now.
