Always love Hampton Inns! Excellent location for this trip. Close to interstate. Many food choices available nearby. Would stay here again if had business in this area again: Staff friendly and do a great job!

I had a transportation problem and had to stop and stay for Three days. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and made my stay very enjoyable. I stayed in one of the suites and found it to be very roomy and comfortable

This is a mediocre old-feeling hotel with terrible parking and uncomfortable bedding. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel was not terrible overall, but it was sub-standard for Hampton. My room had an old looking textured ceiling with water stains. The bathroom shower curtain was nearly too short to keep water in the tub. Overall, it feels like the hotel needs an update. The parking situation is almost bizarre. There is a tiny parking lot in the front that will likely handle less than 25% of potential guests. The front access road that runs between the hotel and a neighboring Waffle House was lined with vehicles when I arrived (including a trailer truck) that made it difficult to even fit down the road. The employee that checked me in said to park wherever I wanted and recommended finding a place on the road. She did say to avoid the Waffle House because they would tow my car. Behind the hotel, adjacent to another building that looked like a defunct convention hall or something, there was another parking lot, but it was not particularly close and really did not seem to belong to the hotel.

Hotel is neat and clean, but doesn’t give you Hilton chain feeling, nothing special. Hotel has good parking space around with few food joints just a walk-way. Room is simple décor but little smelly, (may the cleaner they using in bathrooms are stronger) not sure if it’s because of hot weather, also saw cockroaches moving around in corridor.
Breakfast again common, no variety, good part was Tuesday and Wednesday they server beer and light dinner for common gathering.
If you do not have any special accommodation request and want to stay nearby this area, good hotel to stay without Hilton chain expectations.

We tend to stay at Hampton Inn hotels when we make road trips as they are clean, reliable, inexpensive and dependable. This one in Augusta exceeded these expectations! The cheerful greeting by Magaly at the front desk was very sweet. She offered us some cold water, and congratulated us on the purpose of our trip, to become grandparents! I noticed she greeted guests by their name, something I usually only see at hotels like the Ritz Carlton. She is quite an asset to Hampton Inn. The room was clean, nice amenities, a typical room, but so important that it was clean, and had nice toiletries. When we checked out, the breakfast staff were very nice and helpful. Once again, Magaly was at the front desk, she works a LOT! In all, it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay again!
