This place was fantastic. JC went out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed and that our kids were thoroughly worn out- well, we were anyway:) He toured us around town to show us some key spots, took us hiking, to Solola, and on a very adventurous paddle boarding trip. Bailey, one of the two super sweet dogs, joined us on all of these trips- coolest dog!

Our rooms were very clean and showers were hot. There is a common kitchen and fridge so we were able to cook a few meals and laundry services were available. The hotel was always quiet and is close to the main drag and to tiendas.

We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!!

A well located, clean hotel where the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It's just off the main drag, very close to the lake, and was quiet at night. Thy had just finished some renovations when we arrived the hotel was spotless. Myself and two other friends shared a room which was airy and the bathroom had a good shower.

The staff were very very helpful regarding booking tours and suggesting ideas. We spoke for over an hour about different things to do in Pana and got showed around the areas near the hotel. Casa Colonial also offers paddle boarding as an option with discounts on their paddle board tours and rentals for guests. They also had good connections with other businesses at the lake so we were able to book kayaks through them. When we wanted to go to the water taxi the proprietor walked us to the port and spoke to the driver for us to make sure we got dropped off in the right place.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Colonial and would highly recommend it if visiting Pana.

Thank you JC for a very warm welcome to Atitlan. The hotel and Atitlan itself has a very calm and peaceful energy. Felt totally at home for the entire weekend. Clean rooms and a short, pleasant walk through the markets to the amazing lake. A must see for people visiting Guatemala,
