We stayed the duplex cottage for our family of 5. The rooms were clean comfortable and very large.
Ian and Kate were the perfect hosts.
The place was very quiet as there were only one other set of guests.
Fresh coffee and juice delivered to our veranda at 7 every morning. Marvellous.
Food was very good.
Garifuna drumming on the Wednesday was excellent.
Lots of biting insects so remember your repellant.
Ian showed us lots of local mini fauna that was found in and around the property.
The eerie sounds of howler monkeys in the middle of the night is something we will not forget in a hurry.
The snorkelling trip to Snake keys and our trip to an organic Mayan farm were both outstanding. Didn't see any manatees on the snorkelling trip though.
Blue creek caving is not worth doing if you have already done ATM.
One thing to note the dirt road to the property is not in good repair and it got noticeable worse whilst we were there as their was a lot of rain one night.
