fantastic location for san pedro. so easy to do random day trips (snorkeling, a trip back to the mainland to see some mayan ruins) especially bc the front desk books EVERYTHING. the company they work with (tuff e nuff) is comprehensive in service and competitive in price.
the staff is always helpful, friendly, and available. i would definitely stay here again.More

Frankly we will never come back to San Pedro until the issue with the sargasse is not solved… which could last a century. And they’re many other reasons but one very good point there was the Mayan Princess: perfect location (you can reach everything by foot), beautiful view and fantastic service. Room was perfect and we really enjoyed the kind support of Samantha and Alma. Thanks again and let’s hope the best for you!

As you experienced, seagrass occasionally accumulates on the shore but is quickly washed away. There’s so much more to see and do in Ambergris Caye – do come back again!
Would highly recommend mayan princess! Customer service all around was awesome (especially alma!) Alma was so sweet and always answered any questions I had. Will definetly be staying here next time I come to belize :)

Excellent place to stay, near all the dive shops and literally a stones throw from the water taxi terminal. Clean, comfortable, close to everything. Bed was comfortable,shower was nice. Staff really went out of the way for me when AirBNB stole my money.

My friend and I came to San Pedro for the first time and we were so happy we decided to stay at the Mayan Princess! It’s super close to the ferry.. literally a 2 minute walk. Our room was spectacular with stunning views and a huge balcony! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was a major bonus! The rooms are big and all face the ocean! They brought us a hammock and I hardly left that thing! Location location location!!! The location couldn’t be beat! Right in the center of town, walking distance to everything! The staff was so sweet, absolutely wonderful and friendly. We rented a golf cart through the hotel and they dropped it off and picked it up for us which was super convenient! Thank you Mayan princess, we will be back!!!

We had a great stay at the Mayan Princess. The location is nice, close to the ferry and downtown and still on the waterfront. The beach is compact with piers on both sides, but the location is quiet and relaxing while still being in the heart of San Pedro. You can walk to most of the centeral town and it's resturants and stores easily. The saff was very helpful booking us tour and dinner reservations. The room was spacious with a nice kitchen that suited us for the little actual cooking we did. We recommend and will stay there again on our next visit to San Pedro
