We just had a lovely stay at the Las Terrazas resort. Great location, just far enough out of the busy city but close enough to get there if you wanted to. The staff, Anna, Albert, Steven, Iroy, Jahphet Graciella and all of the staff were terrific! I never felt rushed, pressured or anything. Just cared for and enjoyed. What a vacation!More

Very clean room; wonderful service; perfect pool. The sea grass is an issue but this can't reflect on the hotel. Grass is a problem for all of western Caribbean. A big shout out to Albert Ifield and the rest of the O Restaurant staff. They were super nice and attentive. Thanks again Albert.
The food was good but not 5 star. The location is away from SP so having a golf cart to explore and see the island is good if you are inclined to leave.

We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the service at Las Terrazas Resort. I hope you were able to explore the entire island on your golf cart - it is definitely a unique way to spend a vacation and much better than waiting in line at a rental car counter (in our opinion!).
For tourists reading this review, NC is correct that we do have sea weed or sargassum certain times of the year. We employ staff to remove it from the beach daily for our guests' enjoyment. We do it the old fashioned way - with a rake and a wheelbarrow - to avoid permanent damage to our precious island. There are swimming holes at the end of the dock where guests can enjoy a sargassum-free swim in the Caribbean Ocean.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen views like a beautiful bride and adoring groom on a beach in paradise!! Everything from amazing catering to friendly staff to the picturesque setup was perfect!! Couldn’t recommend this venue enough for any event!
The food was fantastic- we had coconut shrimp, conch cakes, bacon wrapped shrimp, and fried sweet potatoes on sticks for finger food. We also had super delicious pork or chicken tacos, with a vegan option. Beach view beautiful. Great sound system/speakers too! Great place for a catered dinner on the beach.

We had a group dinner here and the coconut shrimp was phenomenal. There were also great vegan options which our friends appreciated. We didn’t have a room, but from what I saw in the courtyard, the rooms are beautiful.
Here for a week w 3 teen daughters and found staff and hotel property among the best we have experienced when traveling. GM Steven (originally from London) knows you by name and checks in a couple of times a day when he sees you to make sure all is ok. Wait staff Wendy and Daphne were excellent. Dual bartenders Albert x2 were responsive and friendly. I have no idea who the chef is, but food was superb especially the night they turned our fresh catch from fishing trip into ceviche, fingers, grilled and Mediterranean masterpieces. But a special shout out to grounds keepers and property assistants Kenrick (“Dreads” who rounded out our volleyball team) and Jofet who were both ambassadors for their resort and country. Despite that there is next to nothing within walking distance of the hotel, we arranged three separate water based days with Sam Lin of Scuba Daze which were amazing (Arden Israel and Gilbert).
