Overall, was a nice place to stay. I think it was over-priced for the accommodations.
Pros: Location, location, location. This 2nd floor home is in the middle of town, so it was very easy to park the golf cart right at your door and walk up. Plus walk anywhere. Beach was around back, about a 3 minute walk. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Comfy beds and pillows. Back porch was great to sit on at night and relax with family. Air condition will freeze you out of the house! Worked great! Washer/dryer a plus.
Cons: No hand soap, one roll of toilet paper, 1/4 roll of paper towels...things were very sparse. Bring everything you need. No cleaning lady during our visit, wash your own towels, linens. Safe is not functional, not mounted and no batteries. I had messaged owner about this, but no reply. In the pictures for the property, I'm not sure what the flight of stairs leads to?? The home doesn't have stairs on the porch that go down onto the sand as the picture leads you to believe. You enter/exit the house on the main street. The back balcony has a large metal roof below it, so you don't really see the beach/sand at all.
So overall, we enjoyed our stay. I think it was over-priced for what the house gives you, but overall was nice.
This property couldn't be located in a better location on the island! This house is easily within walking distance to countless restaurants, shops, the beach, and island excursions. When first arriving to the house, a warm welcome was given by owner Chefy, who provided a tour of the house and answered any questions we had. His willingness to be available for questions or concerns during our stay was very much appreciated. This house definitely had a lot of space for our group of 5 adults. It was cleaned spotless with nice clean bed linens, towels, a full service kitchen, and cold A/C throughout the entire house. The washer and dryer was in good working condition. I felt that the most beautiful part about the house is the 2nd floor wrap around balcony with views of the Caribbean Sea and beach below. On the balcony, it had a lot of seating including a extremely comfortable hanging hammock. This house was the key to our trip being so enjoyable. Will definitely return to San Pedro, Belize and stay at Casa Brisa!
I was very happy working with Chefy. He had good, prompt communication. The house was immaculate inside and a maid stopped by to freshen up. It's right on the beach and in the heart of the city. Close to all the attractions, diving, etc. You don't need to rent a golfcart to get around. The AC was cold. It was very spacious inside, I feel it could fit up to 9 people. There were 4 beds and a futon. We had 5 there, very comfortably.
The water pressure is very low. So showers were impossible. Took a nice relaxing bath.
