On the positive side, this Inn is charming, comfortable and in a wonderful, quiet and pretty area. We used it as a base to see the Okefenokee—although it is a bit of a drive to the Swamp.

It has a lovely golf course and a nice restaurant. We had a “Junior” suite which was comfortable with windows that opened and, for the money, incredibly reasonable.

On the downside, cleanliness was a bit of an issue. Our room was not swept or vacuumed. Further, having a plastic protector on the mattress was tacky and noisy.

In addition, when we booked, no one told us the restaurant is closed on Sunday nor did anyone tell us the Valentine’s Day supper was on the 13th and that advance reservations would be necessary. Thanks to Trevor, the GM, we were able to work things out and had a wonderful supper.

When we checked in, we were not informed about the fitness center or that the clubhouse was available to us. When we left at 6:15 in the morning to go to the Swamp, the coffee and sweets were not yet available even though “breakfast” is 6-10. And, quite frankly, don’t bother with the continental breakfast — it is less than basic.

The most inconvenient aspect of the hotel was the internet. I finally put a chair in the hallway in order to get a signal.

But, there aren't many Inn/hotels in the area so this may well be the best choice.

We've stayed at the Inn at Blueberry Plantation on business several times over the past couple of years in the detached cabin area and have always been extremely pleased. This stay is our first inside of the inn, and we are absolutely shocked at the filthy mess we have found. We actually found a dirty towel under the bed, and the floors are so gross that we don't want to walk barefoot on them. The water pressure in the shower is virtually nonexistent. The dirty floors aren't confined to our room, but are throughout the entire inn. I hate to give such a horrible review of a place that we've always been so happy with, but this is deplorable to the point of needing correcting immediately!

We appreciate you staying with us and we are terribly sorry about your most recent stay. There is no excuse for what happened. That is certainly not up to our standards. We hope you will be willing to come back as that is not the norm here at The Inn. Please feel sure that this issue has already been addressed and will not happen again. Thank you for your patronage.

Good Afternoon,

We recently visited Blueberry Plantation on the way back from Little Lake Okmulgee State Park in McCrae . It was Saturday 10/10/15. We had heard about the place and wanted to play on the way back to Jax. We just wanted to express how pleased we were on the conditions and experience. We avoided the rain and the greens were in remarkable shape and the rates were excellent. We play many course and surprised to see these were some of the most plush consistent greens we have played on all year! Kudos to the Superintendent. Jacob was very hospitable and we look forward to coming back next early spring on the way back up!

Thanks again,
Michael Farah
