When we first moved out here to Denver, we passed the Summit Steakhouse almost every day. Looking on their website, the prices kept us away, but since it was Restaurant Week, they offered items that we liked at a special price, so we tried it.
The French Onion Soup was very good, our entrees were Fantastic. King Salmon over a Crab Cake. Cooked to perfection. The Filet Mignon was cooked a touch rarer than requested, but was also deliciously tender.
As to the dessert, the Creme Brule was, well, OK..
We will be going back because the food is worth the regular menu prices.

It was the worst, it was the best...

The food was incredible. We had the chateubriand and it was perfect. Cooked exactly as we had requested, presentation made it look like a work of art. It even had corn shoots for garnish, which tasted like fresh raw corn.

Service was very very good. The waitress accidentally poured water on me but was very attentive. The bad part was when we asked for an extra "to go" box and she wanted to know why and then said she would have to check if she could do that. Are you kidding me????!!! We spent over 90 bucks on a meal and they aren't sure if they can give us 2 "to go" boxes?? I could barely believe it.

The women's restroom is a disaster. Since I am handicapped, I headed for the handicap stall on the end. I walked into the stall to discover there is no toilet and there was a large black plastic bag overflowing with garbage in the stall. It appeared as if they were storing the restaurant garbage in the handicap stall in the ladies' room!!!! ????? The bathroom had a very strong bad odor and I couldn't get out quickly enough.

The food was 5 star all the way but the service and especially the restroom ruined the overall experience.

This is a great little place in Aurora. The building is nice and has a nice cozy feel. The staff is always nice and friendly and the chef came out to check on our food right after it was brought out. The steaks were good and were done as requested. Love to French onion soup, highly recommended.

This is a wonderful venue for Sunday brunch. We stopped here while visiting friends in the area. The Brunch selections are quite unique, very large servings, and quite delicious. My husband and I both had the white egg omelet. It was full of veggies and feta cheese -- light and very tasty. The mimosas were two for one! What a treat. And don't pass up the French pressed coffee. Everything was truly wonderful.

We were told the onion soup is prepared with a 40 year old recipe and it didn't disappoint. In fact our whole lunch was excellent. We had young children who ordered from the children's menu and their plates were huge. Desert was excellent and the coffee brewed in the french press was local from Boulder and so flavorful. Will definitely return.
