Foot of Aspen Mountain, walking distance to the ski lifts, really nice clean pleasant rooms, great fresh breakfasts, pleasant hot tub, and a wonderful front desk host, Florencia who is friendly and knowledgable.

This is one of those reviews when you rate it a “3” and at the same time know you’d stay again.

Durant has its charm. It’s a smaller property on a quieter street that has all the location benefits of the larger, more expensive competitors.

The room was rather pokey. The floor size was generous, but the floor plan allocation between entry/bathroom/bedroom made it feel like we were tripping over each other, and furniture, during the stay. That “closeness” wasn’t helped by a single solitary window trying to do justice to what could have been a lovely Mountain View.

The bed was comfy but let down by the very bad pillows. The bathroom was spacious and the shower pressure just right.

Walls are paper thin. Light conversation in the room next door was audible...luckily our neighbors were quiet.

Great internet.

Reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was just what we needed to get out and up the slopes, just a 5-10 min stroll from door to gondola.

It won’t set the world on fire, but probably serves as a reliable option for repeat visitors to the very charming Aspen.

We booked the balcony room. It is really cozy with a queen bed, but warm and clean, with a mini fridge (no coffee maker and no microwave). Breakfast is included, and it includes coffee, milk, pastries, fruits, ...
Staff are super friendly and helpful.
It’s close to Gondola, downtown, Carl’s pharmacy, and the bus stop.
We barely stayed in our hotel since our plan was going out skiing.
