Tom, who works reception, is gratuitously rude and I would never recommend a friend, or anyone, for that matter, do business with him. Aspen is a beautiful town and highly recommend visiting it, just with a different hotel business partner.
This is very odd, Tom gets the most positive reviews of all staff, his been here for over 30 years. It be great to know who wrote the review so we can inquire as to what the problem might have been or something that was said. But I will pass this on to Tom, but it's tough for him not knowing who he was talking at during checking in or helping out at the desk.
We had an awesome stay in the hotel section of the Lodge. It is conveniently located to the center of the town (1 mile) which made it walkable in comfortable shoes!
The room was comfortable. It is small but we didn’t spend more than sleeping time in there. The continental style breakfast of fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs and bagels!
The grounds are so well maintained. We loved the heated pool with the jets! The staff is so friendly and informative/knowledgable about the local bests!
I stayed here late august. The heated pool was so nice even when the sun went down in the evening. The lady at the front desk too the time to explain to me everything I needed to know about my shuttle to maroon bells. The bathrooms although not private we’re clean as if a magic fairy cleaned the toilet after every use. The breakfast was way more than I expected with bagels, Chobani yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, and more.. completely worth the money.
We were in the hostel with the shared bathroom. Room was very clean. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast had many choices and different fruits. Tom who was hosting us was very accommodating, knowledgable, and helpful
This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Aspen. Accommodations range from a 2 bedroom condo to a private hostel with a shared bathroom.
I would call the resort and make reservations, as I feel the staff has better prices then you see online.
The staff is very helpful. Parking can be hard, so ask the staff for advice.
A nice breakfast and happy hour are included.
The heated pool and landscaping make this place very inviting.
It is an easy walk to town. If you don't want to walk, don't take your car, as Aspen has a free car service. ( Ask the staff) If you want to eat in, Aspen has it's own delivery service.
