“Quaint coffee shop”
Reviewed 3 March 2012

Coffee bar was the real deal, service was good, but not afraid to charge a premium price.

“learn about it”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

cc gallaghers is a nice quit place but what you really need to know is how the food is prepared all their food is made at their deli cc beau, a tall freaky looking guy with glasses is in charge of preparing the food, he takes for ever to get your food done he is always talkin very annoying!!! you can totally see how dirty his food station is (gross), when he serves the food you can totally see his finger prints on your plate..
The staff is ok sometimes friendly. the blond which is talkt alot about is not being specified, theres a lot of bolnds that work there. a chubby blond who can be rude her name is brittney she is the owners daughter in law has a strong attitude and only works during the summer. another blond who is very sweet and nice is samantha fallowed by maddi. thers also the hostess girl who is a blond she always has a face of get me out of here! and last an old blond lady who is kinda wierd sometimes she is very nice and others very rude, but you figre it out.. (i would recomend, if you want to talk about the staff to do so clearly enough) i vist this place all the time and is not to buy food but just for coffee or deserts!

“Expensive yet excellent quality coffee”

Right on the strand. European coffee selection. The store is a hodgepodge of eclectic wine, coffee cafe, sushi & sake bar.

“Good place for a break”
Reviewed 6 February 2012

We were waiting for the ferry back to LA after a day in Santa Catalina and sat down here for hot tea and some sweets (it was cold, windy, and humid). The cashier/waitress was very friendly and helpful, tea and pie were great. The place was pretty packed, we barely found a very uncomfortable tiny table. Overall, a good place to take a break before boarding.

“Fun Dining, Wine and Sake amid the Art”
Reviewed 2 February 2012

My third meal at this unique establishment right on the Avalon waterfront. Specialties include take-out paninis and lots of other goodies, but to get the full experience sit down and order a flight of you favorite style of wines, or be even more adventureous and get a flight of sakes, to go with a some selections from their creative small-plates menu, all great for sharing. Service is prompt, courteous and knowledgeable and pricing is moderate. Definitely will return whenever I'm on the island.
