TV did not work, room entry light burnt out, room is 'small'.
At night a shady looking man at back of parking area drinking a beer (or soda?)
Breakfast items were generally not nutritious (e.g. composed of white flour)
Manager spoke with an Indian accent which was difficult to understand.
Carpeting in the hallway was colorful and clean.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms are basic and need updating, but clean. Disappointing that the swimming pool was very dirty....one of the reasons we picked this hotel so we can take a dip.
Compared to the last hotel I stayed at in Antioch six months ago, which will remain unnamed, was immaculate compared to this place. The breakfast buffet was 100% better, the room was 100% better, and they had a fitness center! The fitness center is a plus when you are into fitness and working out. I suppose I could've done push-ups in my room. On the plus side they upgraded us to a "suite" which had a pull down futon and coffee table. It was nice to have this extra 6 X 6 ft. space to hang with my lady while listening to music on our phones. We never really watched the TV even though it was on.....travel channel and the new "Man vs Food". Was missing a window shudder but there is a wall on the other side of the window (had to cover with bags). The toilet continually ran, which was very annoying! But we fixed that OURSELVES. Overall, this place in one step up from a $69 room at Motel Six.
